We are seeking a Research Fellow who will explore development of new functional materials using pollen or similar materials. These functional materials will have broad potential applications such as stimulus-responsive bioadhesives specifically tailored to the in vivo microenvironment such as water content and pH levels, or mechanical shape morphing devices/structures. These novel materials are engineered to provide robust functions triggered by internal stimuli, e.g., on-demand adhesion and debonding and degradation properties.
