Job Description:

1️⃣ Lead engineering design, ensure thorough understanding of client requirements to propose optimal solutions

2️⃣ Prepare engineering documents (VDRL) and address client feedback promptly with high quality and accuracy

3️⃣ Create preliminary drawings and guide AutoCAD drafters in producing engineering deliverables

4️⃣ Incorporate industry standards and best practices into design, drawing preparation, review, and submission

5️⃣ Supervise equipment assembly, cabinet integration, system configuration, simulation, testing, and verification

6️⃣ Provide in-house training for client and commissioning engineers

Requirements:

1️⃣ Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanic, Marine & Offshore) or possesses technical knowledge about Maritime communication systems

3️⃣ Experience as an ex-sailor, Ex-Radio Officer, or Ex-Navy personnel are added advantage

4️⃣ Well-organised documentation and time management skills

5️⃣ Ability to articulate and share concepts with customers and suppliers

6️⃣ Knowledge of AUTOCAD will be an added advantage

7️⃣ Site commissioning/radio surveying experience as per SOLAS / MODU (Not a must-have but good to have)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe and timely manner
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and the customer is satisfied
• Inform admin colleagues if there are any order discrepancy and report to Manager on any returned stock
• Responsible for daily routine checks and maintain the general cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Regularly inspect and maintain the lorry (truck) to ensure it is in good working order.
• Report any mechanical issues, damage, or safety hazards promptly to management.
• Maintain and complete all necessary delivery documents, such as delivery notes, invoices, and receipts.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times, and any delays, or to confirm receipt of goods.
• Comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to speed limits, traffic laws and regulations
• Drive safely and abide to all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
• Utilizing navigation apps to find the most optimal route.
• Interacting with clients in professional conduct.
• Maintaining an organized travel schedule.
• Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient gas and are always ready for use.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Min 5 years of experience in related industry
• Class 3/4 Driving Licence compulsory; Company’s vehicle is not allowed to drive home
• The candidate is required to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays able to work longer hours
• Must know to efficiently plan routes and meet delivery deadlines.
• The candidate is required to oversee, supervise and coordinate the work safely
• The candidate is required to work independently and Ability to perform minor vehicle checks and maintenance.
• Capabilities of delivery route planning
• Capability to handle loading/unloading and long working hours.
• Knowledge of GPS equipment; knowledge of DOT regulations, preferred
