Innovative Electronic & Electromagnetic Devices Laboratory (i-Lab@NTU) led by Prof. Mohammad Samizadeh Nikoo is seeking for a research fellow to focus on fabrication, simulation, and characterization of integrated photonics devices.

Key Responsibilities:

The research fellow will focus on the following tasks:

• Design and Simulation of integrated photonics components such as waveguides, grating couplers, etc.
• Micro- and Nano-fabrication of photonics devices in cleanroom environments.
• Experimental characterization of integrated photonics chips.
• Providing general research support to i-Lab.

Job Requirements:

• PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
• Research experience in photonics with a strong publication track record
• Expertise in cleanroom nano-fabrication
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Assistant Professor of English: Creative Writing

The School of Humanities invites suitable candidates to apply for a faculty position in Creative Writing at the rank of Assistant Professor. The area of specialization and competence is Creative Writing: Poetry. Candidates must have a considerable track record of poetry publications, while an interest in the digital humanities and/or artificial intelligence may be of benefit.

The successful applicant will teach courses in Creative Writing, supervise graduate theses, and contribute to the ongoing development of Creative Writing as an important academic discipline in the school. The English department at SoH offers an undergraduate minor in Creative Writing, as well as postgraduate creative/critical degrees by research (MA and PhD), and elective courses in Publishing.

Requirements

Candidates who have the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:

· Responsible for AP & Costing Administration support

· Maintain accurate and compliance standard entries for AP with full supporting documents / AP data entry and prepare payment run, monthly AP & Inter-company reconciliation. Assist in monthly financial closing and yearly financial audit functions.

· Track and record monthly repayment schedules

· Monthly material and overheads analysis; wastage tracking; gathering monthly production outputs;

monitor raw materials movement; raw materials aging

· assist on preparing quotation (Commercial) when required

· Maintain proper filing system, general office duties and assist ad-hoc duties when assigned

Desired Profile:

· Diploma or with LCCI book-keeping ideal.

· with at least 2 years of experience in AP / with or without costing experience are welcome to apply
