• ​Plan for Every Part (PFEP) - Uses PFEP in planning, designing, and management of systems and processes within a facility to ensure delivery of right part at the right time in the right quantity to the right place, which in turn guarantees smooth operations; applies PFEP principles on the end to end supply chain with particular attention to the relationships between master data management, materials planning parameters, engineered material flows, transport management, and warehouse management.
• Analysis and Troubleshooting - Extracts, transforms, models, interprets, and presents planning data with the goal of mining useful information, troubleshooting, suggesting conclusions, and supporting value creating decision making.
• Master Supply Scheduling - Establishes and maintains a valid Master Production Schedule for a family of products, which meets customer’s expectations and requirements while maximizing operational efficiency; validates procurement scheduling, production scheduling, and replenishment planning are aligned to manufacturing and assembly assets for conversion.
• Material Planning - Uses advanced tools (e.g. Advanced Planning Command Centre, Business Intelligence (BI) Dashboards etc.) to take a decision related to parts availability, inventory optimization and root cause analysis.
• Materials KPI Management - Operates in relation to recent or historical outputs as compared to expectations of the organization to determine next steps to drive improvement; assesses gaps to the supply chain performance against the expectation of achieving target deliverables; interprets KPIs to understand end-customer impact; strategically balances trade-offs to influence one KPI while minimizing the impact to others.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Purpose of the Position

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Process Technician's primary responsiblity is to ensure the smooth operation of his/her assigned Process Unit, be it in either the Field or DCS Panel Operation.

Job Description

DCS Operation

• Perform starts up and shuts down according to Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions or Checklists.
• Monitor and control process variables via DCS (towers, reactors, driers, compressors, etc) to maintain quality & plant in steady & efficient condition.
• Respond to process alarms, process upsets or abnormal process conditions according to established practices and procedures in order to begin or cease production as advised by Supervisor or Engineers.
• Troubleshoots equipment and/or process problems in order to identify needed corrections or improvements.
• Initiate and perform Safety bypass with approval from Supervisor.

Field Operation

• Performs equipment line-ups and operate towers, reactors, driers, compressors, pumps, etc according to established practices and procedures.
• Responds to upsets or abnormal process conditions according to instructions from Supervisor or Panelman.
• Troubleshoots equipment and/or process problems in order to identify needed corrections or improvements.
• Collect process samples from assigned sampling points in a safe manner.
• Equipment Inspection Tours according to checklist.

Requirements

• NITEC in Chemical Process Technology /Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Min. 1-2 years Operational experience with demonstrable exposure to Process Plant Operations and site-based activity or equivalent.
• Experience in Safety Awareness programs or involvement in Safety Committees will be an added advantage.

Centre for Lifelong Learning and Individualised Cognition CLIC is a research collaboration between the University of Cambridge and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and hosted by the Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore (CARES) that aims to develop neuroscience-based interventions for lifelong flexible learning. We are looking for a Research Fellow to support research activities on neuroimaging, and training-related brain changes in adults. The role will focus on opportunities for involvement in research activities related to human neuroimaging, language, infant cognition/learning and pedagogy. We anticipate the successful candidate to perform within a dynamic interdisciplinary research environment working collaboratively with project team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform computational modelling and analysis of the neuroimaging and behavioural data from cognitive and related domain tasks
• Development and implementation of neuroimaging data analyses pipelines Conduct analysis of data and summarise research findings
• Development and implementation of data transfer and curation protocols
• Liaise with other workgroups on data management and multi-modal analyses

Job Requirements:

• PhD degree in experimental psychology, biopsychology, cognitive psychology, neuropsychology, neurology, psychiatry, cognitive neuroscience, biomedical engineering, computer science, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of relevant experiences in similar role / technical hands-on experience in specific scope
• Advanced signal processing and programming skills (e.g. with Matlab, Python)
• Experience with neuroimaging techniques (MRI, EEG and/or TMS).
• Familiarity with image data analysis tools such as SPM, FSL, AFNI, and/or DSIStudio, etc.
• Experience with statistical packages, especially R and SPSS
• Good statistical knowledge and skills
• Good IT skills (i.e., Microsoft Office®)
• Strong ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
