Position Overview
We are seeking an ERP Specialist to support and enhance SAP systems across the supply chain function. This role involves managing SAP Material Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) parameters, ensuring data integrity, and troubleshooting system issues. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in improving operational efficiency, driving compliance, and supporting supply chain transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
ERP System Management:
- Maintain, govern, and ensure the accuracy of SAP Material Master Data for raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products.
- Oversee the integrity of SAP MM/PP modules, ensuring seamless integration with other modules such as SD, WM, and QM.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues within SAP MM/PP modules, collaborating with IT teams for configuration and resolution.
Data Integrity and Governance:
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of SAP data, including Bills of Materials (BOM), resources, recipes, and production versions for all product categories.
- Support users in maintaining and uploading master data while ensuring data quality and compliance.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, including manufacturing schedulers, process development engineers, and global teams, to support planning activities for raw materials and products.
- Provide effective communication regarding ERP processes, updates, and improvements.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Assist in creating and updating documentation, guidelines, and procedures for ERP users.
- Ensure adherence to supply chain planning policies and maintain compliance with organizational ethics and guidelines.
Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in Kaizen or Hoshin events to identify and implement cost-saving or time-saving process improvements.
- Contribute to operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives within the ERP framework.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
- Entry-level role with 0–4 years of experience in SAP MM/PP or SAP HANA/APO system configuration.
- SAP MM/PP certification is advantageous.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities in ERP-related tasks.
- Familiarity with SAP MM/PP, HANA/APO, and database management.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach to projects.
- Effective communication and presentation skills with a positive attitude toward learning.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to a fast-paced environment.
