Position Overview:

Job Description

· Source, evaluate, negotiate and purchase goods for direct and indirect materials according to project requirements (RFQ/BOM)

· Participate in strategic sourcing initiatives. Research, evaluate potential suppliers, and develop newly qualified vendors to maintain a strong and healthy supply base.

· Keep abreast of the market/price situation and conduct a regular price comparison.

· Generate purchase orders and forward to the respective suppliers; facilitate the fulfilment process at all stages from material requisition (MR) till purchase order (PO) closed in the system.

· Coordinate with the store to check stock levels as required and place orders as needed

· Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and receiving the stock.

· Liaise and build a good rapport with suppliers and cross-functional team members (relationship management).

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree or minimum Diploma in Business Studies,Purchasing Management / Supply Chain Management/Engineering, preferably with technical background or experience.

· Possess at least 2 years’ related experience in façade product manufacturing and/or construction industry.

· Fresh graduates and candidates with no related working experience are also encouraged to apply.

· Knowledge of SAP experience is a plus.

Job Description & Requirements

· Discharge duties as relevant in the WSH Act, WSH (Workplace Safety and Health (Officers) Regulations

· Deliver monthly reports on the performance and operation of the EHS system to the WSH manager and management.

· Conduct regular inspection to ensure that safety measures are in place at all times

· Implement and maintain proper procedures of WSH management, administration, and recording system

· Assist the WSH committee chairman, act as secretary to the committee and provide guidance to the members in carrying out their safety duties

· Conduct team/individual WSHE inspections and produce relevant reports and follow-ups

· Organize and conduct WSH briefings and training to all employees

· Investigate every incident or accident and develop preventive measures

· Ensure HR and relevant personnel are notified within an hour of the incident and provide preliminary report within the next 24 hours

· Ensure the effective implementation of risk assessments and follow-up actions to maintain high safety standard and compliance to company ISO, OHSAS policies and legal requirements;
