• Update of crew article, including sign on/off via MPA Marinet.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least Diploma in Logistics Supply Chain Management or Business Studies
• Expertise: 3-5 yrs working experience in Marine lubricant logistics supply operations
• Knowledge: Port operation and shipping & transport coordination
• Skill: Excel worksheet , Planning, scheduling and Marine deliveries to vessels

Working Conditions

• 5.25 Working days per week but may be subject to O/T and working during weekends and holidays.
• Could expect to work in stuffy, noisy and dusty environment.
• May need to travel out of Singapore occasionally.
• Mandatory wearing of appropriate PPE when on duty.

Job Requirement

• Follow job orders given by controller and handle daily container delivery and collection timely, accurately with care and safety

• Report / communicate to controller on job challenges immediately

• Check container external conditions and tally it’s number to ensure all container taken in hand are in good order and conditions

• Return all signed Delivery Order daily to controller

• Perform container clearance to and from PSA / Air cargo complex

• Minimum 1 year experience

• Reports directly to the Master Scheduler
• Coordinate production workflows in the shopfloor
• Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimal delay
• Plan a weekly machine loading plan and 3 months forecasted loading plan
• Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
• Recommend to Master Scheduler on deployment of workers and other staff to meet production and delivery requirements
• Recommend shift schedule to Master Scheduler accordingly to production needs
• Liaise with Purchasing and Suppliers for material deliveries and outsourcing schedules
• Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time
• Address issues whenever they arise with the aim of minimal disruption
• Obtain output information (Number of finished products etc.)
• Prepare and submit status and performance
• Collaborate with Quality, Sales, Store, Engineering and other departments to ensure good production flow and coordination
• Manage and train the assistant planners and subordinates
• Any other duties assigned by the Manager

Requirements

• Diploma or further education/certificates is preferred
• Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principle
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP Systems
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Able to converse in English and Mandarin
• Willing to learn and be a team player
