Who we are looking for

As Hydroleap is growing and offering solutions to more clients within the existing verticals as well as the new verticals, we are looking for an Finance & Accounts Executive who will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial strategy of the organization. This role will report to the CFO to maintain financial health, manage financial risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

What you will be doing

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor and report on budget variances, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Support management in financial planning and decision-making processes.

Accounts Management:

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

Financial Analysis:

Taxation and Compliance:

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Diploma’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Must play a vital role in ensuring that these systems function correctly and integrate seamlessly with the building's electrical infrastructure.

2. He or She should design the power supply infrastructure necessary for the operation of fire protection systems. This includes providing power to components such as control panels, pumps, alarms, and emergency lighting.

3. Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labour, materials, and overheads.

4. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring the project is completed within financial constraints.

5. Proficiency in software like AutoCAD Electrical, PDMS Revit, or similar.

6. Knowledge of electrical principles, codes, and standards.

7. Expertise in circuit design and power distribution.

16.Identify and report on cost overruns, providing solutions to mitigate them.

17.Track changes in project scope, ensuring any additional work is costed and accounted for.

18.Quantity Surveyor ensure that all electrical aspects of the fire protection system comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, such as NFPA, NEC (National Electrical Code), and local building codes.

19. Assist in preparing project timelines and schedules, ensuring that the project stays on track.

20.Monitor the construction schedule and make necessary adjustments in response to delays or issues.

21.Prepare the final account upon completion of the project, ensuring all costs are accounted for and settlements are made.

22.Resolve any disputes related to cost or contract terms.

23.Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the project is executed as planned.

24.Participate in meetings to discuss project progress, budget issues, and cost strategies

Requirements

Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from reputed Institute.

Minimum 2 years experiences as Quantity surveyor.

Position Summary

Technical Oversight

• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications and contracts.
• Provide engineering solutions to technical challenges and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Take-Off and Budget Management

• Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BQ) and cost estimates for projects.
• Conduct quantity take-offs from technical drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project costs, manage budgets and implement cost control measures to minimize overruns.

Tendering Assistance

• Support the tendering process by preparing bid documents, reviewing contractor bids, and evaluating technical and financial submissions.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements.
• Work closely with procurement teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.

Project Execution

• Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs through appropriate processes.
• Conduct site visits to oversee construction, installations, or implementations as required.

Communication & Reporting

• Act as the point of contact between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports, technical updates, and cost analyses.
• Address and resolve project-related issues and conflicts.

Risk Management

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Ensure safety protocols and compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Preferable 3 years experience in project management or engineering roles in oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, budget control, and tendering processes.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), Excel Worksheet, Word Document, Power Point Presentation, AutoCAD, cost estimation tools and BQ preparation software.
• Experience in tender evaluation and contract management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Wiling to work at project sites and may require extended hours to meet deadlines.
• This role is well-suited for a detail-oriented professional with expertise in project costing, budget management, and tendering who is passionate about engineering project delivery.

Task and Responsibilities

• Read and understand technical specifications, prepare job-list, work schedule, plan material take off and manpower planning of yard men and contractor for each given jobs. Report department head and update any special materials for specific project (if require more lead time or needs to purchase from overseas)
• Advance planning man and materials, including all facilities.
• Generate, Control and monitor department budgets.
• Order the material required as per material take off and co-ordinate with purchase department for timely delivery of the materials
• Cooperate with project manager on appropriate procedures and schedule to complete the job.
• Ensure safety, discipline and welfare for all subordinates.
• Carry out trade work as per specifications and to the satisfaction of the owner/class & timely completion. Ensure good quality work as per work instructions. Ensure all trade work mark-up drawings to be made and approved by owner’s representative
• Maintain good housekeeping and Safety at all times on board vessel & workshop. Ensure all workers follow safe work procedures at all times
• Responsible for minimum wastage of materials and balance material to be accounted and returned to store at the end of the project.
• Prepare, setup and review department documents (RA, SOP, Internal & External auditing, OR) with supervisor and manager
• Lead group of supervisors, fitters and sub-contractors.
• Ensuring optimum work processes and equipment utilization.
• Understand all jobs given supervise and give detail instructions to subordinates and contractors report to department engineer or department head.
• Ensure all work completion reports will be done by Ship in-charge, verify & submit to owner Rep to get sign before handing over to commercial department on time (before vessel delivery)
• Monitoring vessel daily job deployment report to achieve target on time.
• Perform other related jobs as assigned by DH.
• Ensure Permit to work system is followed strictly.
• Identify parts and components needed for repairs or replacement and to liaise with regional vendors for replacement of critical spares for vessels.

Job Requirements

3 years and above of relevant experience in ship building & Ship repair industry.

• Possesses in depth knowledge on Marine Machinery Works.
• Able to speak and write in proper English.
• Self-initiative and motivated individual.
• Possesses quality leadership skills to lead and supervise people under their charge.
• Able to give constructing advice based on their qualified experiences.

• Responsible for project coordination. Support the execution of multiple contracted projects from contract to completion and coordination of new projects under development
• Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives. Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
• Maintaining project documentation (WHS, Various Management Plans)
• Maintaining QA/QC across projects. Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
• Making regular site inspections and assist Project Managers in successfully implementing Project Management Plans on site.
• Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise. Ensure timely fulfillment of projects by regularly following up with and coordinating between internal teams.
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
• Coordinate with external vendors for submission or relevant documents to authorities
• Ensure all documentary evidence and contemporary records are properly documented, organized and filed for substantiation and billing purposes
• Attend site meetings with architect, consultant, and engineers and facilitate subsequent communication management to ensure customer satisfaction
• Answering main incoming phone calls and routing calls.
• Assist with ad-hoc duties to expedite project turnaround

The Driver (Class 4) is responsible for safe, efficient and on-time delivery and operation of heaavy vehicles to load, move, and unload goods. He or she may also be required to support general transportation operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver goods to assigned locations and assists in loading and unloading of goods
• Proper handling and standard maintenance upkeep of vehicles
• Ensure timely collection and delivery of goods
• Check and account for goods collected and delivered
• Perform delivery duties courteously and professionally
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned by superior

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Possess a valid Class 3 or 4 driving license
• Able to work 5.5 days per week
• Good team player
• Punctual, responsible, and reliable

Familiar with Singapore road and driving regulations

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for inspection of parts and products and ensuring that they comply with the set standards and specifications
• Ensure that all inspection check sheets are duly completed
• Ensure that non-conformance parts and products are not released to the customers
• Ensure that defects are corrected before releasing them to Production
• Ensure that corrective or preventive action are in place and sustained
• Carry out duties in according with Quality Policy, EHS control procedures and WIS
• Ensure that all machine tools and instruments are properly calibrated and taken care of

Job Requirements:

• Minimum NTC2/3, ITC in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Precision Engineering
• At least 1 year of experience in quality control and related work
• At least 1 year of experience in the operation of CNC machines
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
