We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Principal to lead and inspire our early childhood education program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. Below are the key requirements for the position:

Job Description:

• Be responsible for the overall management of the preschool
• Plan and execute marketing ideas to boost centre enrolment (eg. open houses)
• Work closely with the Management Team to discuss overall goal-setting for the school and operational decisions
• Relay directions from the Management Team to staff accurately
• Ensure daily operations are in order and in compliance with licensing and other regulatory requirements including administration matters
• Be willing to cover classes in the event of manpower shortage
• Oversee curriculum planning and professional matters
• Mentor and guide teachers closely in all areas to facilitate collaborative approaches to learning, teaching and evaluation so as to improve overall performance standards and competencies
• Manage relationships with parents to ensure concerns, issues and feedback are addressed on a timely basis appropriately
• Determine requirements that must be met regarding licensing, health and safety regulations from the start and local regulatory agencies
• Plan and propose termly excursions and prepare budget and control budget expenditures

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education-Leadership (DECCE-L)

2. At least 2-3 years of experience as a Preschool Principal

3. Fluent in English and Chinese (spoken and written)

4. Efficient at executing and able to prioritise tasks

5. Excellent leadership and communication skills
