Job Description:

• Takes charge of the entire engineering department, leading a team as they complete various projects
• To assist in site supervision works
• Coordinate internally with inter-department and externally with clients & consultants
• Coordinating for the project planning, documentation, and execution of works on-site
• Coordination, supervision & monitoring of the progress of the project works on site, manpower mobilization, materials planning & ordering
• Coordinate with the contractor and suppliers on all project implementation issues and attend site meetings when required
• Produce weekly site progress reports and necessary submission
• Attend meetings, and conduct site inspections on work progress to ensure quality control in accordance with authority requirements.
• To carry out daily implementation of works at the site with assistance from fellow supervisors and foremen.
• To plan and ensure all implementations are carried out in accordance with the Construction program.
• Carry out daily discussions with the project team and fellow colleagues to ensure works are carried out smoothly and no re-work or clashes with other trade works.
• Study all related construction drawings and prepare and raise any RFI’s required early before implementation of the actual works.
• To prepare any necessary construction method statement and technical proposal to ensure the smooth transition of works.
• Ensure all necessary inspections in accordance with the client’s requirements are carried out accordingly, correctly, and timely.
• The plan and sequences of the construction operations are in accordance with the Project Quality Plan. Attends all necessary site progress meetings, and internal meetings as & when required.
• Keep track of submission status like shop drawings, materials, samples, method statements & all other technical submissions.
• To carry out resource planning, machinery allocations, and equipment management on a day-to-day basis to ensure works at the site are carried out smoothly.
• Coordinates and maintains constant communications with fellow colleagues from other departments like architectural, technical, and planning.
• Liaise with the client’s supervisory department for site inspections, submission of necessary technical reports, and maintaining necessary records at the site.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Project Coordination & Follow-Up

· Track and monitor the progress of all business development projects, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure timely updates and adherence to project milestones.

· Serve as a liaison between the Business Development Director and various teams, facilitating clear communication and efficient project management.

· Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, key actions, & timelines.

· Proactively follow up on outstanding tasks, holding team members accountable for deliverables to maintain momentum across projects.

2. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

· Effectively communicate project updates, instructions, and feedback from the Business Development Director to the team, ensuring prompt action and clarity.

· Support relationship management with internal and external stakeholders by facilitating smooth, professional, and effective communication.

3. Operational & Administrative Support

· Provide administrative support on various business development activities, including preparing documents, managing data, and conducting necessary research.

· Coordinate travel arrangements, event logistics, and other operational needs for the Business Development Director.

· Manage ad-hoc requests and special projects as needed to support the productivity and efficiency of Rigel Technologies’ Business Development team.

4. Calendar /Whatsapp & Email Management

· Oversee and manage the Business Development Director’s calendar, arranging meetings, appointments, and coordinating schedules to avoid conflicts.

· Prioritize meeting requests based on strategic importance, project deadlines, and stakeholder needs.

· Prepare necessary materials for meetings, ensuring the Director is well-informed on objectives and relevant discussion points.

Manage WhatsApp chat and email

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

· Ability to manage multiple projects, track progress, and ensure adherence to timelines and milestones.

· Excellent verbal and written communication to liaise effectively between teams and stakeholders.

· Experience in building and maintaining professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

· Proficiency in managing administrative tasks such as document preparation, data management, and research.

· Experience managing senior management calendars, prioritizing meetings, and coordinating schedules.

· Ability to handle email and communication tools (e.g., WhatsApp) efficiently, prioritizing messages based on urgency.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
