Responsibilities:
As the Director of Marketing & Marcomms, your role is multifaceted, encompassing strategic business development, marketing strategy and implementation, and team leadership and development. You spearhead strategic business initiatives, identifying and pursuing regional opportunities through effective telemarketing strategies, presentations at events, and on-site marketing efforts. Networking for new accounts and analyzing KPI reports are vital to track progress and refine strategies for sustained growth.
In terms of marketing strategy and implementation, you are responsible for formulating strategies aligned with company objectives and overseeing their execution across various channels. Driving digital media efforts to boost brand visibility and lead generation is crucial, alongside ensuring timely communication activities and refining tactics for optimal ROI. Maintaining a robust CRM system is essential for nurturing client relationships and fostering retention.
Your leadership extends to fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture within the Marketing and Marcomms teams. Providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship, you ensure team members' professional development and monitor workload for productivity. Additionally, you conduct training sessions to enhance skills, ensuring the welfare and retention of junior staff. Managing marketing activities across regional markets and coordinating with other business units for seamless leads development underscore your role's breadth and significance in driving the company's success.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent field.
· Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, business development, or sales within the MICE or advertising industry, or equivalent.
· Proven track record of achieving business development targets and driving revenue growth.
· Good public speaking and presentation skills.
· Extroverted personality with strong networking abilities.
· Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in verbal and written communication, with the ability to effectively communicate in multiple languages, including English and Chinese.
· Experience in digital marketing and proficiency in leveraging social media platforms for business objectives.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
· Proficiency in MS Office 365 suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive).
· Willingness to travel overseas as required.
