Senior Marketing Communications and Partnerships Executive
Job Description
The potential candidate will support Unlocking ADHD’s (UA) efforts to enhance brand awareness, create impactful content, and drive strategic partnerships. The role also includes planning and executing events to support the organization’s mission and amplify its reach. This position combines expertise in marketing, communications, partnerships, and event management to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Communications
- Develop and implement a corporate communications strategy to strengthen UA’s brand and reputation.
- Create and manage corporate materials, including annual reports, social impact reports, press releases, speeches, and presentations.
- Write and edit thought leadership articles, interviews, and story pitches to position UA as a leading advocate for ADHD awareness and support.
- Serve as the primary contact for media and external communication, ensuring consistent and professional representation of UA.
Marketing and Digital Strategy
- Develop and execute SEO and SEM strategies to increase UA’s digital visibility and engagement.
- Design and manage Email Direct Marketing (EDM) campaigns to engage donors, volunteers, and service users.
- Create and implement a social media marketing strategy, including content creation, scheduling, and analytics tracking.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor campaign performance and refine strategies.
- Build and maintain a content library and editorial calendar in collaboration with internal teams.
Event Planning and Management
- Plan and execute events such as awareness campaigns, fundraising events, workshops, and community engagement activities.
- Oversee end-to-end event logistics, including vendor management, budget planning, and post-event evaluations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the success of events and campaigns.
- Develop event marketing strategies, including promotional materials and outreach plans to maximize participation and visibility.
- Leverage events to build UA’s brand and foster meaningful connections with stakeholders.
Content Development
- Produce high-quality, engaging content, including newsletters, videos, visual images, and promotional materials.
- Develop impactful corporate presentations, brochures, and other marketing collateral.
- Highlight UA’s impact through storytelling content, emphasizing its value to the ADHD community.
- Redesign and refresh existing materials to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Events Management, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, and event planning.
- Proven success in planning and managing events, including vendor coordination and budgeting.
- Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, and analytics.
- Active on social media with a track record of driving engagement
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with experience creating content for various audiences and platforms.
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the non-profit or social impact sector.
- Familiarity with grant writing, sponsorship proposals, and event fundraising.
- Knowledge of ADHD-related topics or experience working with neurodiverse communities.
- Proficiency in CRM management and email marketing tools (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Business suite, Mailchimp, Canva, etc).
- Public speaking skills would be a bonus.
