Role Purpose

To frame the business case and lead the implementation of satellite operations for MODEC EPCI business

conducted by the Project Execution Business Function ("PE"). The operationalisation is expected to be made

under the remit of and will affect two Singaporean legal entities of the PE, Modec Offshore Production Systems

(Singapore) Pte Ltd ("MOPS") and its Joint Venture company Offshore Frontier Solutions Pte Ltd ("OFS"),

We are seeking to recruit a proactive and motivated research assistant to join the Bezos Centre for Sustainable Protein at the National University of Singapore (NUS) launched on 5 September 2024, the first of its kind in Asia to advance research in alternative proteins. Led by experts from NUS and research institutes in Singapore, the Centre aims to drive global food security and accelerate regional innovation. The focus will be on microalgae research and biomass fermentation, to produce high-quality, affordable, and sustainable microbial proteins from microalgae and biomass fermentation that can be further developed into cultured meat and plant-based protein hybrids. Microbial proteins will be cultivated through fermentation and processed using emerging bio-physical techniques for effective biotransformation, to improve digestibility, flavour, and nutritional profile. As a research assistant, you will assist with conducting and monitoring microalgal cultivation bioprocesses via analytical techniques to achieve maximal product titres, yields, and rates. JOB SUMMARY

You will oversee the production and publication of the company’s award-winning annual Sustainability Report and all other public ESG disclosures; present the company’s ESG performance and field queries from investors and other financial stakeholders. You will also be responsible for coordinating the company’s external and internal sustainability reporting to ensure that our reporting reinforces our sustainability and community engagement strategy and aligns with best practices globally.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for ensuring the company is positioned for and responsive to the growing expectations among internal and external stakeholders for transparent reporting on our environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives.
• Ensure the continued tracking and measurement of progress across ESG goals, engagement with the ESG ratings firm community and production of formal and informal reporting initiatives (e.g., sustainability report, website, intranet, ad hoc inquiries, etc.)

Job Purpose

The WREF & EHS, Site Lead is responsible for the management and delivery of workplace, infrastructure and services at the commercial sites encompassing Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam, and ensuring that these supports and facilitate all business operations. The role provides senior leadership and direction to their organisation (contract partners), delivering a coherent, joined up approach to employee experience and aligning to their customers business strategy.

The Site Lead will serve as the primary liaison with the businesses at the site level, or stakeholders. The infrastructure and services at the site level are provided by contract partners, and as such, the Site Lead will ensure effective local governance of contracted relationships.

This role will be charged with developing the business plan for the site portfolio, on-boarding new sites and delivering the WREF aspirations within the region in partnership with the COEs. The incumbent will be instrumental in standardizing WREF services and driving performance across the sites within each region.

The role takes accountability for their markets of operation performance by leading One WREF team and ensuring cost, quality and compliance metrics are achieved. The role will also support the APAC real-estate and Projects team with delivery of strategy.

EHS

• Establish and implement commercial EHS management system at the site location(s) to ensure compliance with local EHS legislation and GSK global EHS standards.
• Facilitate regular commercial EHS council meeting joint by all relevant functions to discuss EHS concerned areas, to prioritize actions; to ensure appropriate resources and plans are in place.
• Work closely with compliance officers to ensure commercial EHS risk has been identified and mitigated properly.

WREF

• To be responsible for the designated service delivery and its ongoing development across the relevant site or region.

Associate Professor (Epidemiology)

The National University of Singapore – which is the top ranked university in Asia – is recruiting full-time Associate Professors/Professors for the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health (SSHSPH). All positions are tenure-track appointment (i.e. appointees are given fixed contracts for up to 7 years, with the goal of obtaining tenured appointments at the end of this period).
