RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform the tasks of teaching, training, supervising, maintaining and developing the functioning level of the client to function adequately and independently in the areas of Activities of Daily Living, Community Living, Social and Recreational Skills.

Conduct programmes and activities for residents

• Implement social, recreational and educational activities to promote independence, health, wellness, and quality of life
• Provide input for the design of social, recreational and educational activities to promote independence, health, wellness, and quality of life
• Guide residents in the development of basic personal and social skills, simple academics or work skills
• Monitor the progress of residents in the area of independent living skills

Support Allied Health Professionals

• Monitor and implement programmes designed by Allied Health Professionals in the area of health fitness & wellness programme, motivational & behaviour management plans as well as sensory awareness

Administrative & Operations

• Support unit operational and logistics management
• Ensure centre and residents' safety and security
• Record information in residents' files
• Provide personal care assistance to residents in their daily living such as toileting and grooming.
