Job Requirements:Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.

Working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Critical thinking and problem solving skills, planning and organizing, self initiative and good time management
Decision making skills, persuasive and ability to influence, lead and high stress tolerance. The incumbent must be able to travel regionally on short notice if necessary.

Summary:

• Basic salary up to $3000
• Variable bonus
• 5 days work week
• 8.30am - 5.30pm
• Location: Jurong East
• Slightly experience in procurement only

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and issue PO, keep track of procurement activities
• Monitor stock inventories, maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory and perform monthly stock take
• Liaise with manufacturing team to ensure plant requirements are met efficiently and production runs smoothly
• Liaise with suppliers with deliveries and maintain records of purchases
• Coordinate with forwarder for permit / shipment clearance documents
• Liaise with sales team for new requirements of materials and to source as and when required
• Negotiate best quotes from supplies
• Other relevant ad-hoc duties

Key Requirements:

• Min 6 months - 1 year experience in procurement
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin speaking suppliers
