JOB PURPOSE

The role is primarily responsible to assist the Procurement Manager in the management of product sales performance and yield studies of the fresh categories.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage all suppliers & contracted partners.

Duties:

• Coordinate and manage import and export shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
• Communicate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs agents to arrange transportation and clearances.
• Track shipments and update relevant stakeholders on the delivery status.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, including inventory, delivery schedules, and related costs.
• Negotiate with carriers and suppliers to optimize shipping costs and service quality.
• Resolve shipping issues, such as delays or damaged goods, promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, warehouse, and sales, to streamline logistics operations.
• Assist in the preparation of cost reports and performance metrics for logistics operations.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Prior experience in import/export operations or shipping coordination.
• Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, customs processes, and documentation.
• Proficiency in logistics software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for dealing with vendors and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and compliance.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
