Responsibilities

Project Management

• To resolve all technical and non-technical issues during the project lifecycle.
• To ensure the tracking and monitoring of items per contractual requirement.
• Responsible for submission and monitoring of technical drawings, method statements and proposals.
• To ensure construction meeting client & regulatory requirements.
• To carry out short-term planning to meet site progress.
• To co-ordinate, program and monitor site work, materials, plant & equipment.
• Carry out project objectives to align with company goals.
• Minimize material wastage on-site and maximize machinery/equipment usage.
• To control the allocated direct workforce effectively i.e. no. of direct workers and overtime etc.
• Follow approved construction method that is cost effective, productive & without compromising on Quality.
• Achieve targeted progress of works to ensure the intended cash flow.

Technical Understanding

• Fully understand project drawings and scope of work.
• Understand the implications of different technical choices so as to meet the project objectives.
• Involving in providing value engineering solutions basing on his knowledge.
• To have knowledge in the preparation of engineering project proposals and method statements.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent (Recognized by PEB).
• Versed in PUB(WRN) projects with more than 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is an advantage.
• Candidate with comparable qualification may be considered for Project Manager post.

Job Description

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining SQL Server instances.
• Knowledge in Microsoft SQL cluster for high availability.
• Monitoring database performance issues, resource utilization, optimizing SQL queries, and system health.
• Implementing security measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality.
• Backing up and restoring databases to ensure data availability and disaster recovery.

• Maintain documentation related to the Database environment, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guide and keep documentation up-to-date with any changes or enhancements.
• Work closely with application developers to understand and address their requirements.
• Implement scripting for routine maintenance, monitoring, and reporting.
• Provide monthly work progress report records.

Requirements

• A Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or relevant certification courses.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Microsoft SQL Database Administrator.
• Strong technical and analytical skills, meticulous and organized.
• Experience in PeopleSoft and Azure Cloud would have an added advantage.
• Good knowledge and experience in managing Windows operating systems would have an added advantage.
