• Manage existing databases, including extracting, cleaning, processing and analyzing data for routine and ad-hoc reports, and trouble-shooting of existing data systems
• Develop new and ad-hoc databases for company audits, surveillance programmes and research projects
• Develop a methodology and system for managing and extracting complex data from various databases or sources, which will require proficiency in logical data models and developing data dictionaries
• Produce documentation of new or existing systems and data-management support documents like standards, best practices, policies and procedures etc
• Conduct presentations describing data structures, data analysis methods, and results of data analysis
• Preparation of quarterly to annual reports.
• Support other related research activities as directed by Head of department.
• Perform general administrative duties as required
• Work beyond routine work responsibilities, in the exigencies of services.
• Carry out any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor and/or the Head of Department

Responsibilities:

PCG is looking for a candidate to join the Finance team in Singapore. The contract role is responsible for the financial accounting, audit, tax and corporate secretarial matters for some of the PCG entities during the financial year end audit period.

The candidate’s role will include the following:

· Reviews management accounts, financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and respective fund agreements.

· Prepares and/or review periodic financial reports to investors

· Oversees audit progress and liaise with auditors, service providers etc. to ensure audits are completed in a timely manner

· Oversees corporate secretarial matters for the respective entities

· Reviews corporate tax estimates, GST and manages tax filings etc.

· Answers ad-hoc investors’ queries, tax authorities’ queries

· Involvement in ad-hoc projects to streamline processes and finance operations

· Other routine finance operations

Requirements:

· Possesses a recognized degree in Accountancy with a minimum of 3 years working experience.

· Experience with financial year end audit, fund accounting, fund structure and reporting to investors

· Experience with reviewing or preparing consolidated financial statements

· Familiarity with JGAAP will be an added advantage

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

· Meticulous, responsible, self-motivated and has a positive attitude

· Able to analyze problems, provide solutions, and challenge information to reach mutually agreeable outcomes

· Able to work independently and as part of a team
