ANIMATION & PRODUCT LAUNCHES

• Assist in designing and creating visual merchandising displays based on launches needs in all POS in SEA markets and to manage the production and delivery to stores
• Assist in collation of launch POSM and testers for markets based on marketing priorities and budget.
• To help to check through all markets POSM forecast.
• Consolidate POSM orders that requires local fabrication for all markets, mainly on PCD launch.
• Update planogram for all stores and formats based on Merchandising plan and aligning with Marketing team.
• Preparation of visuals for various formats utilizing brand guidelines and manage vendors in the process and ensure visuals are installed on planned launch date.
• Consolidate launch reports for submission to Regional team and photos update.
• To assist VM manager in coordinating with suppliers on VM POSM production for animation and events setup.

OPENINGS

• To create and plan the visual merchandising aspects of a new store by preparing the planogram, category organization and visual elements of the store.

INVENTORY & QUOTATION MANAGEMENT

• To manage long-term planning for planograms based on the product assortment plan to identify POSM needs and allocation for SG network.
• Generic and launch POSM Inventory management - to ensure sufficient stock level at warehouse & office for Openings & Maintenance.
• Track status of orders and ensure timely delivery of POSMs to each store.
• Work with logistics team to align allocation plans for markets and ensure healthy POSM stock levels.
• Track cost spending with every launch VM (F24, F27) budget.

E - VM

• To assist VM manager in visual Adaption for site E-Corner update & campaign deployment.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an open-minded and enthusiastic intern to join our regional merchandising team. During this internship, you’ll be work with the VM Manager on the management of all visual merchandising, retail excellence and delegated store design activity associated with the delivery of the VM strategy and new store openings. Responsible for guaranteeing maximum qualitative visual impact of the brand at each point of sale in line with brand DNA and local strategy. Creation and implementation of launch and permanent merchandising tools and guidelines, consistently executed across both Travel Retail and Local Market in APAC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Visual Merchandising team on daily administrative tasks and specific projects
• Assist with in-store visual merchandising such as developing key launch concepts, researching materials, and preparing APAC display designs
• Work closely with Retail Design, Brand Marketing teams, Design Agencies, Contractors, and Vendors to enhance POS retail excellence
• Responsible for creating and tracking purchase orders, as well as ensuring timely deliveries of regional productions
• Coordinate with vendors regarding material samples, as well as overseeing the picking, packing, and sending of samples back and forth
• Occasional need to liaise with HQ for specificity on materials and finishing samples from France for regional production or specific delivery for market needs

MAIN MISSION

1. Product Launch

• Ensure weekly all central guidelines and technical details are maintained and that specific  markets folders are always up to speed with the latest information
• Support technical adaptation of central visual merchandising guidelines across the regional (3 axis: Fragrance, Make-up and Skincare)
• Maintain Soft Merchandising 3D Assets based on campaign cadence in the regional
• Depending on sketch-up skills, to support in designing of regionally product POSM based on monthly launches.
• Support in artwork updates and changes based on campaign drops depending on adobe illustrator or in-design skills

Animations/Events

• Design support on SPP or small podiums on sketch-up, depending on skills sets
• Join-in trade plan brainstorming plans/sessions for retailtainment activities by collaborating with marketing and commercial teams
• Organised internal visit to competitor’s pop-ups in Singapore
• Post-campaign process support for photo/video execution to be maintained and submitted by market

3. Visual Merchandising Operation

• Support VM Manager in briefing / managing regional productions to both market and external vendor
• Support on the POSM shipment, cost tracking, and PO creation.
• Coordinate timely delivery of merchandising produced regionally
• Worked with vendors/contractors on brand’s POSM guide that will affect dimensions, cropping, and review for production & installation

4.  Administrative

• Monthly merchandising’s Meeting Agenda to be shared across all regions
• To follow-up with meeting minutes during merchandising monthly meetings
• Launch merchandising surveys across regions
• Key point of tracking status and organising inventory count of office POS and display configuration

The Senior Product Developer will lead a team of product developers to work with buyers, designers, and international business partners to strategize and execute product development across UPR-owned or -affiliated destination entertainment venues (both US and international). This includes leading in the coordination of  product development related tasks and ensuring compliance to the quality standards or delivery requirements set in accordance with Company regulations and best practices. This role will also work closely with vendors and suppliers to recommend any changes to the current product development to ensure compliance with the affiliated destination product safety standards.

Your responsibilities include:

• Working closely with a team of product developers and partner with Brand Manager, Supervisor and Compliances team during product development stage. This involves tracking changes to licensor’s requirements, identifying manufacturing issues and ensuring the accuracy of materials or components used.
• To facilitate onboarding of new vendors and to carry out merchandising responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. 
• Work with buyers, designers and suppliers from the ideation phase to production stage in line with project deadlines.
• Handles product development including working with external vendors and factories on sample reviews.
• Understands and applies manufacturing and costing parameters to product.
• Ensures product design excellence by making character and product corrections during sampling, prototyping and address key issues and challenges in production/assembly and plans accordingly to deliver high-quality products.
• To participate in UPRGM produce development meeting or calls conducted in other time zones.
• Ensure good housekeeping is in place in the respective area of responsibilities.
• Establish product specifications to satisfy product requirement.
• Coordinates with Manager on new projects and scheduled deadlines.
• Limited travel for onsite product approval and trade shows.
• Undertake other ad-hoc projects and responsibilities as required.
