Job Description
The role requires an experienced legal secretary to provide full spectrum of secretarial service to the Managing Partner and her team specialising in disputes and resolution; investigations and white-collar crime; employment and industrial relations; and strategic and business advisory.
Key responsibilities:
• Managing workload effectively to provide timely and accurate support to lawyers
• Assisting lawyers with their calendar management, organising of internal/external meetings, organising of travel arrangements and expenses claims
• Matter project administration including but not limited to matter opening, time recording, filing, preparing and sending out of bills including bill narrations, and archiving
• Preparing legal documents and court bundles
• Assisting with e-litigation (Court filings and calendar) and searches (ACRA etc)
• Undertaking other general secretarial administrative tasks (typing, filing, printing, scanning, etc.)
Requirements:
• Preferably with legal secretarial or paralegal experience supporting legal teams specialising in disputes and resolution
• Experience in e-litigation
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and possess strong interpersonal skills
• A meticulous, responsible, proactive and team player
