The Director – AML and Sanctions Compliance – Payments, will be a key member of the Global AML and Sanctions team. This charter is inclusive of assisting to develop the relevant AML and Sanctions policy standards, program governance using a risk-based approach, engagement models, communications content and cadence, and strategic guidance to global and regional efforts. The role-holder should be able to engage with credibility and authority with clients and regulators and clearly communicate the platform’s risk and compliance features. Knowledge of global and regional industry and regulatory trends in the areas of AML as well as KYC and risk scoring will be critical as well as experience in building solutions and processes to manage innovative payment services. Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) is a key business pillar in Visa that leads money movement solutions and platforms for commercial clients – from micro, small and mid-sized companies to large corporations, government institutions and other payment enablers across their journey. As a part of the NRF Fellowship Project on Materials-by-Design, School of Materials Science & Engineering (MSE) is looking to hire a Research Assistant with expertise in high-throughput synthesis of inorganic materials and optimization using machine learning. The Research Assistant will build upon our team’s experience toward developing high-throughput experimental platforms for synthesis, characterization and functional performance testing (thermoelectric performance, catalytic performance) of a library of materials.  The Research Assistant will focus on synthesizing and characterizing inorganic materials, specifically inorganic chalcogenides for thermoelectrics and metal alloy catalysts for CO2 reduction.

Additionally, the Research Assistant will conduct in-depth structural and elemental characterization and analysis of the materials using XRD, SEM-EDX and XPS. Finally, thermoelectric measurements experiments will be conducted. The Research Assistant should be able to utilize design-of-experiments and high-throughput experimental workflows. In addition, materials science and metallurgical concepts such as phase diagrams, mapping and separating different phases and oxidation states of compounds and rapid structural analysis are required. Finally, machine learning will be applied to guide experimental campaigns.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct synthesis of inorganic thermoelectric materials using various high-throughput synthesis techniques.

• High-throughput synthesis of materials for CO2 reduction will also be conducted.

Responsibilities:

• Generate invoice.
• Verify accuracy of bills and obtain approval before sending out, especially on non-standard items, interest charges, arrears payment, failed Giro deduction.
• Ensure billings are done on time, to prevent backlogs and incurring bad debts that needs to be written off.
• Perform routine internal / manual / billing system compliance checks as well as on payment receivables using advanced excel formulas.
• Perform immediate corrective actions on billing errors through comms to the public.
• Oversee cases with arrears.
• Monitor payment and prepare bills for late payment interest and prepare report using data visualisation tools.
• Keep records of conversations with tenants for fees not collected within the stipulated timeframe.
• Call to hasten/ clarify on late payments.
• Prepare invoicing for ad hoc billing scenarios.
• Offset payment against individual invoices for accurate arrears tracking.
• Establish arrangements with banks on Giro payment reports, failed deduction etc.
• Ensure write off process is adhered to.
• Track arrears till closure according to guidelines established.

Requirements:

• Singaporean
• Diploma in Accounting, Business or similar fields
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Power BI.
• Good data analytic skill such as maintaining data, gathering data from primary and secondary sources, identifying, analyzing and interpreting trends from the data.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good team player and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive in problem solving and adaptable in dealing with different situations.

Job Summary

The Guest Relations Senior Supervisor will be hired to be part of the Guest Relations Team. This role requires an individual who has an outgoing personality and excellent guest service skills to provide an unparalleled service experience to our exclusive VIP guests. This Guest Relations Senior Supervisor will be managing the first impressions of our guests and should perform duties assigned to the highest standards to establish and maintain relationships with VIPs and guests and encourage repeat visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Recognizing VIP and regular guests.

• Monitor and manage daily bookings and ensure reservations have been assigned to maximise seating plan.

• Ensuring CRM system is up to date with customer details and preferences.

• Continuous acquisition of new VIP guests.

• Coordinate reservation requests directly with customers and with Guest Experience Supervisor.

• Communicates with management, Guest Relations Team & Service Team to rectify all customer needs, comments, or incidents.

• Responsible for the general upkeep of the restaurant/clubs and facilities, to ensure all VIPs and guests are being always provided the best experience.

• Identify VIP bookings and ensure that they are flagged to the operations team so that special requests and arrangements can be made by the relevant person.

• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma holder.

• Minimally 3 years of work experience in Hospitality, Customer Service preferred.

• Good oral and written communication skills must be fluent and literate in English for communication with stakeholders, bilingual experience preferred.

• Ability to maintain a calm composure with difficult customer interactions and customer disputes.

• In-depth experience in managing reservation.
