about the job

Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial controllership activities including monthly closing and reconciliations, timely tax filing, financial and management reporting . You will work closely with the in-country Finance Managers to consolidate the necessary regional financial reports. You will support tax and treasury activities whilst driving improvements to systems and processes.

skills and experience required

You should ideally be degree and/or CA/ACCA qualified with at least 5 years of regional finance controllership experience. Hands-on experience with SAP is advantageous. You are a strong team player and communicative, dynamic and adaptable to a fast paced and diverse environment. Responsibilities:

· Assist in month end closing including review of financial reports and prepare commentaries

· Handling mall vouchers and promotions recording and reimbursement for all stores including queries from stores or other stakeholders

· Assist in monthly cashflow forecast

· Handle queries on payment, billing and sales issue by coordinating with stores, share service team and external parties.

· Assist to prepare information for statutory audit, internal audit and income tax submission

· Support day to day finance operations including liaise with various internal and external parties on finance related matters

· Assist in administrative works such as filing and mails

· Handle other ad hoc duties

· Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time

Key competencies

· Degree or professional qualifications in Finance / Accounting

· Minimum 3 years of experience in similar capacity in retail/FMCG industry

· Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals and controls

· Hands-on, analytical, accurate and meticulous

· Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

· Positive attitude, independent, self-starter, detail oriented, good communication skills, strong team player and able to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environment

· Proficiency in Excel and experience in SAP will be an added advantage

Coordinate Product Training Programs:

• Collaborate with customers and trainers to schedule and deliver training sessions.
• Liaise with the resources team to arrange equipment, venues, and other necessary materials.
• Ensure adherence to processes for data handling, subsidies, certifications, attendance, and reporting.
• Manage timely issue escalation and provide regular KPI updates to management.
