We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Regional Sales, GPS.
Principal Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients with regional treasury relationships, in order to generate new and enhance existing relationships for the business
- Build and maintain close relationships with clients, helping them design and implement cash management solutions across their footprint in Asia
- Building regional solutions for clients covering payables, receivables, liquidity management and bank connectivity
- Closely coordinate with sales teams across all 19 markets in Asia (as may be needed), and with global teams in other regions – to ensure positive client outcomes
- Ensuring that clients are handheld throughout their journey from pre- to post-sales implementation with seamless handovers in-between
- Maintain close liaison with key stakeholders so as to provide input into the strategic direction of the business – functionality/launch/commercialization of new products and services
- Generate referrals for other HSBC Global Businesses example Private Banking, Retail Banking and Wealth Management as appropriate
- Keep abreast of external factors influencing international business example economic, cultural, geographical, procedural and regulatory requirements
- Identifying and implementing improvements and collaborating with colleagues to maximise end-to-end integration, effectiveness and efficiency
Qualifications
- Prior experience of managing multinational clients, while engaging clients effectively at CxO level; will be a key differentiator
- Understanding of local regulations across multiple markets in Asia is preferred
- Buy-side experience in a regional treasury setup is an added advantage
- Sell-side experience with regional headquarters/treasury centres and shared service centres is an added advantage
- Comfort with managing, finding insights to drive business decisions and key client outcomes; will be an added advantage
- Track record of building new business or customer portfolio is preferred
- Strong communication and Interpersonal skills to connect at all seniority levels
- Self-Motivated with a growth mindset
