Position Overview

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The job scope shall be managing the group’s regulatory, licensing and operating compliance, reporting and administration functions. This shall include drawing up enterprise risk management programmes for new funds being set up and operating companies that are invested by our funds. The staff shall also be assigned ad hoc risk management related projects related to the above responsibilities from time to time.

Overview of Desk Quant Analyst Position:

• Maintain and upgrade the codebase and configuration of strategies within the firm’s automated trading framework.
• Manage large datasets used in both research and production environments.
• Perform live as well as historical monitoring of trading activities. For instance, do some post-trade analysis or production reconciliation.
• Work in close collaboration with quant researchers and traders to understand the constantly evolving needs of the trading desks.

Typical Day of Desk Quant Analyst:

• Before market open, check that all required data and related processes are ready for the trading day.
• During market hours, sporadically monitor behavior and performance of strategies.

Skill Set Required For Position:

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical subject.

The role Supervise and manage 2 Event Servers on daily event operation, this role is the middle bridge-person between involved parties (team / vendor) and the stakeholders to excute successful Event Planning and Execution.

Scope of Work

• Support Event Manager with detailed proposals for events (e.g., timelines, event / room layout plan, email correspondents to host / clients)
• Managing operation schedules for Event Servers
• Manage and oversee all event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes efficiently
• Manage and coordinate with building management, venue, logistics, vendors, deskside / multimedia, and the Client Health and Safety team
• Oversee and support Event Servers on daily operation
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with vendors and clients
• Monitoring on records of inventory, vendor list, and cost
• Source vendor and propose quotation to the client according to event requirements
• Performing post-event evaluation with Event Manager for successful planning and execution
• To keep track of feedback to improve the success of future Events
• Training of new hires and daily supervision of Event Servers
• Greet and respond to guest/client requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
• Provide excellent customer service and present in professional appearance and mannerism.
• Interacting with the guests and routine food and beverage decorum

Pre-requisite

• Diploma in Event / Hospitality / Tourism and other relevant discipline
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in Event Management with 2 years as a Supervisor / Lead
• Individual with exceptional executive presence and ability to cultivate positive relationships
• Experience leading a diversity of events, from small to medium-sized functions, to large-scale celebrations (internal / external event)
• Ability to manage complex projects, including logistics, vendors, budgets, and timelines
• Possess Food Hygience Certificate / Food Handling Certificate added advantage
• Comfortable to be handling alcoholic beverages and / or non-halal food during event
• Able to work before / after official working hours when needed for event
• Able to use Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
