The LNG CN originator will be expected to network effectively with the LNG traders, structurers, analysts and other originators based in Singapore and elsewhere in Asia. A key responsibility of this post will be for the timely execution of robust and commercially-optimum master agreements and spot contracts in support of the work of the LNG trading team. Our LNG market and supply positions are underpinned by an advantaged shipping position operating a fleet of bp-owned and time-chartered ships.

The role of the LNG Book within bp’s trading and supply business is to:

• Optimise the utilisation of bp’s LNG assets including supply contracts, shipping and market access rights.

The Asia and Middle East LNG origination team is based in Singapore. It is responsible in the LNG Book for establishing and implementing the strategy for origination and marketing of bp equity and merchant LNG contracts in these regions. It is also responsible for the execution of contracts relating to short-term and mid-term trading activity carried out by the LNG trading and portfolio teams.

Key Accountabilities

• Draft, negotiate and execute Confirmation Notices with trading counterparties.
• Support the review, negotiation and execution of Master Sales and Purchase Agreements with new counterparties.
• Support the LNG trading team in reviewing term-sheets prior to making an offer or bid in the spot market, including participation in tenders.
• Maintain, utilize, refine and update efficient processes including the Counterparty Risk Matrices, Country Risk Matrices, and relevant MSA/CN tracking sheets.
• Deliver commercial term and binding commitments (prices, flexibility, shipping etc.) which secure value and recognise trade-offs with risk.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Account Management:

• Drive sales performance and growth across various e-commerce platforms.
• Oversee official marketplace stores, including setting up new channels, planning activities, executing campaigns, and evaluating outcomes.
• Maintain and update product listings, images, and ensure alignment with promotional campaigns to drive traffic and sales.

• Work closely with third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate pick, pack, and last-mile delivery.

Business Development:

• Keep track of emerging market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities within the local market.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in FMCG or consumer products e-commerce and channel management.
• Self-motivated, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive attitude with a strong determination to succeed in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
