Responsibilities:

• Define the project scope, objectives, and goals
• Estimation and budget follow-up
• Preparing task list with schedule and identify the risks
• Assigning tasks to team members, overseeing the work, and managing the issues.
• Understand the release process and tools and follow the bank standards and policies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams
• Follow-up on delivery from contributor as well as own development team.
• Make sure methodology and processes are respected
• Produce clear and comprehensive status reports
• Produce Steering Committee documents and present to Sponsors
• Understand user’s requirements/concerns
• Ensure good quality of the documentation
• Coordinate with multiple Technical teams, Infrastructure and testing teams to deliver the projects

Requirements:

• 5 years experience as Project Manager on Finance and banking related applications.
• Good to have knowledge of banking domains and activities (Front Office, back Office, Trading, …), especially in Wealth Management area.
• Good to have knowledge on Credit Risk (Financial Instruments, Rating for Financial Instruments and Rating Agencies, Derivative products: FX Forwards, FX Options, Equity Options, WM products like Credit Lines, Loans etc., Regulatory)

Your new role

• Provide costing Support to Principal Accountant in MFG areas related to purchased part cost set up, Work order support and inventory related activities including some liaison with the other manufacturing functions.
• Prepare monthly Spending reports for cost centre owners and spending reviews
• Prepare and reconcile costing related balance sheets schedules
• Perform and support on the month-end closing activities relating to Project accounting
• Assist in preparing Quarterly payment requisitions for Royalty Licensors
• Provide support on providing SOX compliance test and audit documents
• Support on Global Scrap Details Approval matching and reconciliation
• Budget support in preparing Budget templates and simple budget working files for product cost set-up
• Provide support on month-end closing and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley legislation i.e. demonstrating an auditable system of controls sufficient to guarantee integrity of financial results.
• Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 3 years of accounting
• Preferably some awareness or knowledge on Manufacturing Costing, Sourcing Operations
• Experience in Oracle, Hyperion and proficiency in managing Excel Spreadsheets will be an added advantage
