Student Talent Development Programme (STDP)
• Develop and implement strategies to effectively manage the development programme aimed at developing undergraduate student talents within campus.
• Collaborate with colleges, schools, offices and external vendors to design and deliver training sessions and workshops for the programme
• Engage with participants and provide ongoing support throughout their STDP journey to ensure successful completion and continued engagement with the programme community
• Identify and engage potential internal and external partners to support the long-term development and expansion of the programme
• Assist in the coordination of mentorship programme to provide meaningful connections that support the participants’ personal and professional development
• Assist in monitoring the effectiveness of the development programmes, gather feedback, and make recommendations for continual improvement to ensure participants meet their development goals
Communications
• Develop strategies to drive recruitment for STDP as well as to enhance the visibility of STAND
• Assist in the development and dissemination of communication materials such as social media posts, newsletters, website content, marketing materials, programme tool kit
• Identify opportunities to publicize and showcase our talent scholars and the impact of STDP experiential learning outcomes
• Maintain a record of media features of our talent scholars and STDP participants
Stakeholder Engagement
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, colleges, schools and department heads, to ensure alignment of initiatives with organizational goals
• Collaborate with external partners, such as educational institutions, industry experts, and sponsors, to leverage on their expertise and support for initiatives
Key Qualifications and Competencies:
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in disciplines such as Business Administration, Humanities, Communications etc
• Possess at least 2 years of working experience supporting or managing initiatives such as leadership/ talent programs, youth development, communications
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in using software, including MS Office applications
• Ability to work independently, as well as in cross-functional teams
Duration / Working hours:
1 year contract
Monday to Friday: Office hours (TBC)
