Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a French curriculum appropriate for preschool-aged children, incorporating songs, games, and activities that promote language learning in a fun and accessible way.
- Teach basic French vocabulary, including colors, numbers, animals, greetings, and other essential concepts.
- Use a variety of teaching aids and resources, including visual materials, flashcards, and interactive games to support language development.
- Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel encouraged to explore and express themselves in French.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress in language development and communicate with parents regarding their child's growth and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other educators to integrate French learning into broader preschool activities and themes.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development activities to stay updated on early childhood education best practices.
- Foster a positive classroom culture that encourages respect, creativity, and teamwork among children.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, French, or a related field (preferred).
- Native French, with strong speaking and listening skills.
- Previous experience teaching French to young children, preferably in a preschool or early education setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage young children in language learning.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and learning principles.
