We are looking for a committed and experienced Safety Coordinator cum Supervisor to ensure the safety and efficiency of our work sites. The ideal candidate will play a dual role, managing workplace safety compliance while supervising daily operations to maintain productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Safety Coordinator cum Supervisor, you will:

1. Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and Environmental Control regulations
2. Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigating measures
3. Prepare, review and update MSRA (Method Statement & Risk Assessment) documents for submission to client
4. Plan, implement, and enforce Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies
5. Conduct safety briefing/training, toolbox meetings and document daily safety checklists
6. Supervise on-site operations to ensure adherence to safety and operational protocols
7. Monitor workers’ performance to ensure productivity and quality
8. Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions

Job Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have:

1. At least 3 years of experience in a Safety Coordinator and supervisory role
2. WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (ACWSH) qualification / Manage Work-at-Height / BizSAFE Level 2 certifications
3. Knowledge of WSH and OHS legislation, procedures, and best practices
4. Proven ability to manage and supervise teams effectively
5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
8. A keen sense of responsibility and be ownership-driven
9. Immediate availability or a short notice period is preferred.
