Work Dynamics - Integrated Facilities Management

Admin and Reporting:

• Prepare and submit utilities reports.

The Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) is a safety professional who has undergone stringent training in accordance with prescribed mandatory standards that govern the safety, health, wellbeing of human lives and business operative processes within a specified environment.

The WSHO shall possess fundamental knowledge of occupational safety, health and environment management and protecting such from harm and damages.

BELFOR is engaging a full time WSHO to oversee the vast aspects of our business operation ranging from its headquarter to the worksites. The WSHO is charged with responsibility to ensure its operation is in compliance and running in accordance with the prescribed standard processes.

Key Responsibilities: -

1/ Safety Risk Assessment

• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments of the workplace to identify potential hazards

2/ Health and Safety Training

• Develop and deliver training programs to employees on workplace safety procedure as necessary

3/ Complance and Regulatory

• Ensure the organization complies with the mandatory health and safety laws, regulatory and local authorities
• Ensure keep up-to-date with changes in the laws and safety standards

4/ Incident Investigation and Reporting

• Investigate workplace accidents, injuries or any near-miss incidents and identify their root causes
• Prepare and file reports on incidents, including any corrective or preventive actions taken

5/ Safety Equipment and Hazardous Materials Management

• Ensure safety equipment, such as fire extinghuisher, first aid kits, and personal protective equipment (PPE), is available and maintained in servicable standard

6/ Emergency Preparedness

• Develop and implement emergency response
• Conduct regular emergency drills and ensure staff are famililar with procedures

• Support wellness program, promoting mental and physical health initiatives where applicable

8/ Documentation and Reporting

Requirements

• Tertiary and/or higher institute of education from the engineering field (due to the nature of job aspects, engineering background and exposure is recommended)

• Provide cybersecurity support in system operations to ensure the compliance with Government policies, which include review, design and implementing security measure, process, controls for the Authority’s systems;
• Review security audit reports and assessment conducted by auditors for security testing such as Vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, host configurations, IT general controls, risk assessments, etc;
• Conduct reviews, gap analysis and provide recommendations on monthly reports and reviews, ensuring the compliance of the system processes to the Authority and Government policies;
• Monitor and follow up with known vulnerabilities and risks in the Authority’s environment and systems;
• Conduct cybersecurity assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks in the Authority’s systems and processes;
• Design and follow through the implement of cybersecurity solutions in the Authority’s environment to protect against threats and attacks;
• Review and verify that security policies, procedures, and best practices are implemented and comply with standards and guidelines by the Authority’s appointed contractors and systems;

Requirement

• At least 3 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Consultant or equivalent position
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical/ Computer Engineer, Information Technology or related discipline would be preferred;
• Good capabilities in ICT governance, security/ risk/ data management frameworks;
• Good knowledge in ICT infrastructure, applications and web/ cloud services;
• Qualified and certified ICT professionals such as CREST, CRISC, CGEIT and CISSP
