The successful candidate would:
Structural Design and Analysis:
Lead the structural design and analysis efforts for Airbus A330/A320/A321
conversions, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards.
Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, and structural
documentation.
Payload Integration:
Oversee the integration of cargo payloads into the aircraft, considering structural
integrity, weight distribution, and balance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize payload configurations.
Weight and Balance Analysis:
Conduct weight and balance analysis for modified aircraft, ensuring compliance with
safety and performance requirements.
Provide recommendations for optimizing weight distribution.
Structural Modifications:
Design and oversee structural modifications required for P2F conversions.
Collaborate with suppliers, technicians, and other stakeholders to implement
modifications.
Certification and Compliance:
Ensure all structural modifications and designs comply with aviation regulations and
certification processes.
Interface with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary approvals.
Project Management:
Manage and lead structural engineering projects from concept to completion.
Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to meet project
milestones.
Testing and Validation:
Oversee testing and validation processes for structural modifications and payload
integration.
Analyze test results and implement necessary adjustments to ensure optimal
performance.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation for all structural designs,
modifications, and payload integration.
Prepare regular progress reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Job Requirement:
The successful candidate should possess:
Minimum Graduate in Aerospace/ Mechanical Engineering
5 to 6 years’ experience in a similar capacity work
Good knowledge Airbus A330/A320/A321 mech systems
Good hands-on experience on CATIA V5
Knowledge of windchill PLM software is added advantage
Knowledge aircraft primary and secondary structures.
Able to comprehend engineering design definitions and drawings
Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel) and Adobe (PDF)
Good communication skills , problem-solving skills and Right First-Time attitude
