Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented Front of House & Waiter to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This dual role combines the responsibilities of welcoming guests, managing the dining area, and delivering outstanding table service. Key Responsibilities
1. Guest Welcome and Seating:
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and walk-ins to ensure optimal seating arrangements.
• Provide menus and explain daily specials, promotions, or restaurant events.
2. Order Taking and Service:
• Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring guest preferences and dietary requirements are noted.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Monitor tables to anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional service throughout their visit.
3. Customer Interaction:
• Answer questions about the menu and offer personalized recommendations.
• Upsell specials and beverages to enhance the dining experience.
• Address guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with a problem-solving attitude.
4. Dining Area Management:
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented dining area at all times.
• Ensure tables are set with appropriate linens, cutlery, and glassware before service.
• Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests.
5. Billing and Payments:
• Provide accurate bills and process payments via cash, credit cards, or digital methods.
• Handle transactions efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service.
6. Team Collaboration:
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Support colleagues during busy periods and assist with opening/closing duties.
Requirements
1. Experience and Skills:
• Previous experience in a Front of House or Waiter role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
