Job Description

1) Application Development, Deployment and Support

• Support the development of existing or new application using SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) best practices.

TUNNELLING MACHINE OPERATOR (CONSTRUCTION)

Required to be experienced in operations of TBM machine, excavation and ring building, tunnel pipe roofing.

• Prepare tunnel progress reports, and other tunnel-related documentation.
• Prepare and carry out the presentation of tunneling works prior to the commencement of works.
• Plan and monitor and track site progress, manpower mobilization, and equipment deployment.
• Conduct daily site inspection and supervision of bored tunneling works.
• Supervision work on a TBM machine controlling the tunnel labor in excavation and ring build.
• Maintain site records of excavated volumes, grouting records, and other construction work.
• Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on tunnel projects.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients.
• Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions where required.
• Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.
• Act as the main technical adviser for tunnel projects.
• Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.
• Oversee the selection and requisition of materials.

Position Overview:
The Sales Merchandiser will play a critical role in driving sales, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring that the company's fire protection and construction products are effectively marketed and displayed. The role requires a combination of sales acumen, technical knowledge, and relationship management skills to meet sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development:Promote and sell fire protection and construction products to contractors, architects, and project managers.
   Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction sector.
   Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
   
2. Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
   Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
   Conduct regular site visits and follow up on ongoing projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
   
3. Merchandising & Product Presentation:Ensure proper display and arrangement of products in retail or showroom environments.
   Train retail staff on product features, benefits, and usage.
   Stay updated on market trends and competitor products to optimize merchandising strategies.
   
4. Technical Knowledge & Support:Provide clients with technical information and specifications about fire protection systems and construction products.
   Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for potential customers.
   Assist clients in selecting products that meet their project requirements.
   
5. Market Analysis & Reporting:Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and sales data to inform sales strategies.
   Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and customer feedback to management.
   Monitor competitors’ activities and suggest adjustments to the sales approach.
   
6. Compliance & Coordination:Ensure adherence to safety standards and industry regulations related to fire protection systems.
   Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, production, and procurement) to ensure timely delivery and inventory availability.
   

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sales or merchandising, preferably in the fire protection or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety systems, construction materials, or related technical products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
