As a Managing Director, You will:
Fulfil, but not limited to, the following roles and responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement the company’s vision, mission, and long-term strategic goals in collaboration with the President and Board of Directors.
• Oversee overall revenues, profitability, and business operations, ensuring Brother's market leadership and business growth.
• Drive profitability and sustainable growth in Printing and Imaging, Sewing Machines, and Labelling Equipment markets.
Regional Marketing, Domestic & Export Sales
• Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to strengthen Brother’s brand presence and product positioning across key markets.
• Oversee domestic and export sales strategies to maximize revenue growth and profitability.
• Drive effective marketing programs and promotional campaigns tailored to target markets.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers to enhance market penetration and retention.
Service Excellence
• Establish and maintain high standards of service quality across all business segments.
• Drive customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery, ensuring timely responses and resolutions to customer inquiries.
• Monitor service metrics and implement improvements to enhance customer experience.
Business Development
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities, including new markets and innovative customer experiences.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen Brother’s regional market positioning and profitability.
Financial & Operational Oversight
• Develop and manage budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Drive revenue growth and achieve profitability targets across business segments.
• Present financial and operational updates to the President and Board.
Leadership & Team Development
• Lead and manage a team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Promote diversity, inclusivity, and professional growth within the organization.

We’d Love to Hear from People With
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline
• At least 15 years of experience in Printing and Imaging, Sewing Machines, and Labelling Equipment industries.
Technical & Market Knowledge
• Strong understanding of Brother’s and market dynamics.
• Technical expertise in Printing and Imaging, Sewing Machines, and Labelling Equipment technologies.
Language Proficiency
• Essential: Strong proficiency in Business Japanese (written and spoken) due to the need for direct communication with Japan HQ regarding technical specifications, business discussions, and strategic planning.
• Familiar with Japanese firm operations and have at least 5 years of experience dealing with Japanese executive members or customers.
Skills
• Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage and grow regional operations while ensuring financial and operational excellence.
