ECD is part of SSG’s Incentives Management and Enforcement Group (IMEG) which contributes to pan-organisational efforts of building an effective, responsive, and inclusive CET eco-system through effective grant management, Skills Development Levy Collection, and enforcement against external fraud and abuse.

Through monitoring, intelligence, audit and investigation efforts, ECD drives SSG’s enforcement actions against errant entities and individuals to prevent abuse or contraventions of SSG’s funding, the Private Education Act, SkillsFuture Singapore Agency Act, Skills Development Levy Act and the respective regulations under the purview of SSG.

What you will be working on

The division oversees the conduct of inquiries and investigations of cases related to
• abuse of incentives and grants administered by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG); and
• contraventions under the Private Education Act, SkillsFuture Singapore Agency Act, Skills Development Levy Act and the respective regulations

The Manager candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
• Conduct verification calls relating to SSG’s funding support
• Handle requests related to refunds or reinstatements
• Gather information and intelligence pertaining to training providers and enterprises
• Conduct field surveillance on entities or individuals as part of intelligence gathering for cases
• Prepare statistical updates on a regular basis

· To ensure that all monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports, budgets, operating forecasts and other information required by UEL are accurately complied and submitted within specified time limits, identifying variances and drafting variance explanation to the management discussion.

· To ensure hotels’ general ledgers are maintained, reflecting the current financial status and profit & loss position of the hotels, in an orderly and professional manner.

Quality Assessment and Reporting
