Get to Know the Role
We are seeking a candidate to be responsible for overseeing SAP R3 to HANA migration and D365 database migration with a new Chart of Accounts, ensuring seamless system integration. They will manage data validation, including Financial Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, and Fixed Assets, and coordinate migration of balances and open items. Conducting User Acceptance Testing, validating financial processes, and ensuring system customization in D365 is included. They will need to support go-live activities, post-go-live enhancements, and prepare audit-compliant documentation for Zaimu and Deloitte.
Essential Responsibilities
- Systems Migration & Integration
· Responsible SAP R3 to HANA migration alongside implementation vendor
· Oversee D365 database migration with new Chart of Accounts
· Ensure seamless integration between HANA and D365 systems
- Data Management & Validation
· Verify changes in master files for AP, AR, Inventory, and Fixed Assets
· Coordinate migration of open items and balances for AP, AR, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Purchase Order (with Procurement)
· Prepare monthly P&L total and closing balance for Balance Sheet for migration
· Ensure accurate GL mapping across both systems
- Testing & Quality Assurance
· Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all financial modules
· Validate financial processes including revaluation, journal and cost allocation
· Testing and ensure customized functions work in new D365
- Project Support
· Provide go-live support and troubleshooting
· System enhancement post go-live
· Prepare comprehensive documentation for audit compliance – Zaimu and Deloitte
Skills and Competencies Profile
· Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
· Technical Knowledge:
o Good understanding of SAP R3 / SAP HANA functionality
o Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
o Solid understanding of financial modules: AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, and Inventory
o Experience with database migration and data mapping
· Financial Expertise:
o Strong understanding of accounting principles and Chart of Accounts structure
o Experience with financial reconciliation and balance sheet migrations
o Knowledge of forex transactions and revaluation processes
o Understanding of cost allocation methodologies
· Project Management Skills:
o Experience in ERP implementation or migration projects
o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
o UAT planning and execution experience
o Documentation and process mapping capabilities
o Stakeholder management experience
· Additional Requirements:
o Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting
o Experience working in systems implementation
o Strong communication and coordination skills
o Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
