The Division of Advanced Internal Medicine is comprised of 12 faculty trained in both General Internal Medicine and Medicine Sub-Specialties who deliver care to inpatients and outpatients. You will be responsible for the overall supervision and day-to-day running of the Alexandra Campus in-patient clinical service. This is a new campus for the NUHS cluster comprised currently of 3 groups of patients, acute medical patients, acute/sub-acute care wards, with a focus in multi-disciplinary team approach to chronically ill patients who have complex social needs, and those with cancer and palliative care needs.You may also be responsible for the supervision and teaching of House Officers, Medical officers and other Trainees.You will have significant autonomy in your role while also working closely with supportive supervising consultants. As a member of the Localization, Mapping and Calibration (LMC) organization, you will play a critical role in architecting and developing automated semantic annotations and map change detection. This is an exciting opportunity to have a direct impact on the company’s goals by solving technical problems which allow us to scale production maps to meet the needs of commercial operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and implement automated semantic mapping solutions from ground up, taking ownership of complex challenges.
• Work with point cloud, image, and other sensor data to aid in semantic mapping by applying state-of-the-art methods and techniques.
• Develop and deploy scalable and efficient software in the cloud.
• Collaborate with internal teams that focus on HD mapping and CV/ML models (e.g. SLAM, segmentation networks, object detection networks) to improve our semantic maps.
• Understand how the maps are consumed and design metrics and tools to evaluate and validate our automated annotations
• Prioritize safety above all else in designing and implementing software solutions, ensuring the highest standards of safety in our autonomous driving efforts.

What We're Looking For

• Masters or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience shipping production software in robotics / graphics / mapping which cover topics in SLAM, geometric computer vision, point cloud processing and/or scene reconstruction.
• Strong C++ or Python software engineering and algorithm skills including software design, source control management, build processes, code reviews, testing methods.
• Deep understanding of CV/ML techniques, particularly integrating ML modules in production.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate across multiple teams, researchers and engineers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn.

Clinical visual electrophysiology has become an essential tool for the diagnosis and management of visual loss. The visual electrophysiology service in NUH was established since 2018 and has since been established as an integral part of our tertiary niche services, such as neuro-ophthalmology, and Inherited Retinal Diseases (IRD) in Singapore.

The key purpose of the position is:

• To help the NUH Department of Ophthalmology maintain and expand an established ERG (Electrophysiology) service that is in keeping with international standards, that supports national needs within and outside NUHS.
• To ensure quality testing services and timely and accurate reporting of the required testing modalities.
• To ensure continuity of service, through training of a team of Ophthalmologists and Optometrists in NUH that can bring ERG services to a new height.
• To contribute to the teaching and research outcomes of the department when necessary.

The Product Tester Engineer will work in Interoperability Test Lab in Singapore Development Centre. This Test Lab performs integration tests of multi-vendor devices such as transmitters, control valves, multiplexers, remote IOs etc, against Yokogawa Control Systems (CENTUM VP, ProSafe-RS, Stardom, PRM and FieldMate)

The main responsibilities are:

• Liaise with device vendors for coordinating testing requests
• Plan and execute product testing
• Setup, maintain and upgrade lab assets, review test procedures and work process and implement improvement periodically
• Support in first line troubleshooting of customer reported issues related to tested products
• Support product development team for each development release or ad-hoc testing

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the process automation industry, either in instrumentation or control system
• Degree in Engineering/Computer Sciences
• Knowledge of digital communication protocols such as HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus/Profinet, ISA100, WirelessHART, OPC-UA etc
