As the Principal Localization AI Strategist at Autodesk, you will design and develop an innovative AI-based globalization and localization framework. This framework will integrate Machine Translation (MT), AI, and Linguistic Quality Management (LQM) workflows, explore AI-driven localization capabilities in Engineering and Quality Assurance (QA), and drive continuous improvements in MT-AI solutions. As a key member of the Localization team, you will collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, language/AI/tools service providers, and internal stakeholders to expand Autodesk's global reach.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and integration of MT-AI-LQM workflows
• Explore and adopt emerging AI solutions for globalization and localization to optimize processes for Engineering, QA, and Multimedia functions

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the localization industry
• Expertise in MT/MTQE/APE (Machine Translation, quality estimation, evaluation, automated post-editing), language AI domains, and process automation
• Strong technical proficiency in Python programming
• Familiarity with linguistic evaluation metrics for MT quality (e.g., COMET, BLEU, edit distance algorithms, human model evaluation)
• Excellent analytical skills, including experience creating reports and dashboards with tools such as Power BI or Looker
• Extensive experience with localization platforms, linguistic QA tools, Translation Management Systems (TMS), CAT tools, and JIRA

Purpose of the post
