Prof. Phanish Puranam seeks a full-time Postdoctoral Researcher at INSEAD’s Singapore campus starting beginning of 2025. The postdoctoral researcher will be provided with a salary and a small personal research budget and will join in the ongoing research of Prof. Puranam and collaborators on the theme of “Organizations and Algorithms”. This work covers different ways in which algorithms relate to organizations, in their roles as tools (e.g., machine learning applied to organizational data), models (e.g., computational models of organizations as aggregations of learning agents) and as members (e.g., human-AI collaboration). Utilizing Drosophila, mouse, and human brain organoids as model systems, our research focuses on elucidating to neural stem cell proliferation, differentiation, and regeneration, as well as their implications in neurodevelopmental disorders (Science Advances 2024, Nature Communications 2024, PLOS Biology 2024, Cell 2024, Developmental Cell 2023, 2010, 2011).
