We are looking for a highly motivated Research Fellow candidate to join Dr Jiong-Wei Wang’s research programs to work on a heart immunology project in the Cardiovascular Research Institute and Department of Surgery, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. The candidate is expected to work independently in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment. The candidate will perform cell culture, western blotting, FACS analysis and a variety of cell viability assessment assays, as well as in vivo experiments in mice, ranging from daily care to surgical procedures and the interpretation of the results. Apart from own projects, the candidate may supervise junior staff and students, and provide support to the research group, as delegated by the PI. The appointment is on a 2-year contract base in the first instance with a possibility of extension. The candidate will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and study team members to ensure the successful completion of the experiments on time.
