Description

Fuzzing is a powerful technique for finding security vulnerabilities in systems and is used by corporations regularly. In this work, we will study the role of AI in cybersecurity - by aiding fuzzing techniques with large language models.

Tasks

• Conduct Research on AI-Aided Fuzzing: Lead research efforts to explore the integration of large language models (LLMs) with fuzzing techniques for identifying security vulnerabilities in systems. Design experiments and methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of AI-aided fuzzing in comparison to traditional methods.
• Develop AI Models for Fuzzing Enhancement: Develop and implement AI models, including deep learning architectures, reinforcement learning algorithms, and natural language processing techniques, to enhance fuzzing capabilities. Train these models on relevant datasets to improve their ability to generate meaningful inputs for fuzzing.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams comprising cybersecurity experts, AI researchers and software engineers to integrate AI-aided fuzzing techniques into existing cybersecurity frameworks. Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field: A terminal degree in a relevant field is essential to demonstrate the depth of knowledge and expertise required for conducting advanced research in AI and cybersecurity.

A*STAR is spearheading a series of Strategic Research & Translational Thrust (SRTT) that harnesses its multidisciplinary expertise to undertake a focused research mission. Operating as a cross-A*STAR initiative, SRTTs are geared at delivering impact and outcomes in specific thematic areas. Data science is an important component of biomedical and translational research, where data of multiple modalities are being constantly generated at unprecedented scale. The Research Data Integration group in the Biomedical Datahub Division of the Bioinformatics Institute (BII), A*STAR, aims to bridge the complexity of computational biology and data science with the needs of biologists and clinicians to drive biological discoveries and predict translational outcomes. Job description

We are seeking a research officer to drive data management and analysis of large-scale biomedical multi-omics and clinical data. The candidate will be expected handle a number of tasks, including curate and QC incoming large-scale multi-omics data, implement and benchmark bioinformatics workflows, perform downstream analysis, develop file catalogues, databases, knowledge graphs and visualization of datasets, and implement international data standards to ensure data interoperability. The successful candidate will also extensively mine, analyze and curate publicly available resources and develop annotation tools and databases to link up with available datasets of different diseases, including cancer and metabolic diseases. The candidate will also manage and maintain all data in a database structure and develop a searchable web portal for researchers and clinicians. Job Description

The NUS Centre for International Law (CIL) is accepting applications for Research Associate for its Energy Law and Policy Programme (ELP). The ideal candidate would be interested in working on globally-oriented energy governance issues with a regional focus, particularly topical issues of a cross-cutting nature. CIL encourages its research staff to develop independent and joint research within its areas of focus. Candidates with interdisciplinary research experience/perspectives are encouraged to apply.

In addition to conducting research, the Research Associate (RA) is expected to assist in planning and organising international and regional conferences, workshops and training courses for government officials; and to be involved in drafting background papers and/or reports for such events.

In the case of cross-cutting issues, the RA is expected to collaborate with other research teams within CIL to ensure efficient and effective research outcomes. He/ She is also expected to contribute to the development and maintenance of an internal knowledge base as well as efforts to keep the CIL website and other research-related social media platforms up to date.

Duties to Perform:

The senior Gas Engineer will work on designing, tendering, and monitoring the installation of bulk gas and special gas systems for industrial properties in semiconductors, electronics, biopharma, and related industries. The gas systems include bulk gases, high-purity inert gases, flammable gases, corrosive gases, hazardous gases, and related distribution networks.

The senior Gas Engineer will collate the client’s capacity requirements and specifications and prepare the conceptual design, make a detailed design for system capacity, configuration, schematic, P&ID, PFD, layout, distribution, and system parameters, and prepare documents like the scope of work, reports, specifications, standards, logistics, and detailed drawings for tender. He or she will review proposals from contractors and continue to support them during installation when required.

The successful candidate will work closely with other disciplines such as architects, civil, cleanroom, electrical, automation, mechanical, and construction engineers, as well as CAD/ BIM designer in designing and delivering the project.

Requirements:

You should have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent.

You should have sound experience in designing high-purity, and specialty gases and systems related to semiconductors manufacturing or similar facilities. You should be able to comprehend clients’ URS, and design with concept design, schematics, PFDs, P&IDs, routing layout, the scope of work, specifications, and functional descriptions. The experience in designing chemical systems will be definite added advantage.

Your familiarity with the Semi standards and Singapore standards, manufacturing tools, materials, and CAD/ BIM will be an added advantage.

You should be able to make presentations to clients and engineers on design, tendering, project execution, supervising progress, and quality of work.
