Data and Computational Science (DCS) is a newly established computational hub within National Cancer Centre of Singapore (NCCS) which focuses on leveraging data analytics and computational methods to advance cancer research and treatment. DCS features high-powered computing resources capable of processing ‘big data’ profiles and running advanced interpretable machine learning algorithms and robust statistical techniques. DCS offers in-house and centralised solutions for NCCS researchers who require computational analysis without the need to buy specialised equipment or contract with third party vendors. DCS aims to maximise the efficiency of data processes and accelerate research outcomes. With access to national level medical data spanning clinical, imaging and omics datasets, our efforts are concentrated on harvesting the innate value of these rich datasets to improve cancer patient care and treatment delivery through the production of world-class research.

You will provide support and insights for DCS core multi-omics research and big data analysis computing infrastructure that focus on using next-generation sequencing (NGS), radiological imaging and other multi-modal datatypes to develop biomarkers predictive of clinical responses in cancer patients. You will be expected to wrangle and optimise large datasets and execute complex parallel computational pipelines to better understand the complexity of cancer progression and treatment resistance across multiple cancer types.

Key Responsibilities:

- IT Infrastructure Design: Develop strategic IT infrastructure plans (hardware, software and network) that ensures scalability, security, and performance.

We are seeking an organized and resourceful Research Technologist to join our team for a pivotal study assessing the impact of structured arts programs on seniors’ health and well-being. This role involves coordinating research operations, ensuring seamless execution of study activities, and providing technical and administrative support. The findings of this study will influence future health and social care strategies for the ageing population.

Key Responsibilities

· Schedule and coordinate research activities, including participant recruitment, program sessions, and data collection.

· Ensure logistical readiness, such as venue setup, materials preparation, and resource allocation.

· Liaise with study stakeholders, including participants, facilitators, healthcare providers, and community organizations.

· Monitor project progress against timelines and milestones, reporting updates to the PI and research team.

· Administer and troubleshoot survey platforms, data entry systems, and other research-related software.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date study documentation, including participant consent forms and session records.

· Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines, institutional review board (IRB) protocols, and data privacy regulations.

· Prepare and organize materials for periodic audits and progress reports.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for participants, addressing their inquiries and providing support as needed.

· Support the research team in hosting community events and dissemination activities.

· Assist in the administration of surveys, questionnaires, and other data collection tools during program sessions.

· Support the team in compiling findings for presentations, reports, and publications.

Qualifications and Skills

· A Diploma in Health Sciences, Social Sciences, or a related field.

· Prior experience in project coordination or research, especially in community health or ageing-related studies.

· Familiarity with data collection methods and research tools (e.g., survey platforms, Excel, or SPSS).

· Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data management systems.

· Technical aptitude for operating and maintaining research-related equipment and software.

• Shampooing, cutting, styling, and coloring hair, as well as massaging and treating scalps.
• Applying makeup, performing facials, and recommending skincare therapies.
• Performing permanent and temporary hair removal treatments, such as electrolysis, laser hair removal, and waxing.
• Suggesting guidelines on personal skincare regimes.
• Cross-selling beauty therapies and products.
• Making appointments and documenting treatments.
• Keeping your workstation and tools clean and sterile.
• Taking stock and ensuring there are adequate supplies.

Requirement:

· Preferably GCE 'O' Level Certificate or equivalent

· Should have at least 3 years of experience as receptionist.

· Having prior general administration experience working in a school environment would be an advantage.

· Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

· Ability to use basic Internet sites i.e. Gmail, WhatsApp Web, etc.

· English (Written & Spoken) and with one mother tongue language (e.g. Malay, Mandarin, Tamil)

· Able to communicate with students, aged 13 to 17 years old age group

Duration/ Working Hours:

1 year contract ( 17 Mar 2025 to 16 Mar 2026)

· Mondays to Fridays: 6:30am to 12:30pm (no lunch break included)

· Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

Job Responsibilites

• Manage the overall delivery of the infrastructure project on or ahead of time with all client expectations met.
• Assign resources to deliver the works within budget, time, quality and regulatory standards, monitor and guide workflow, setting daily, weekly and long-term project goals.
• Manage the specialist functions of design, engineering, procurement and construction, manage the interaction of various disciplines and multiple work streams.
• Production planning, review progress against plans, contractual arrangements and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates and take effective remedial action as required.
• Financial Management: Ensure strong contract, commercial and financial risk management, accurate forecasting of both costs and revenue, take corrective action in line with CCCC authority and reporting frameworks and maximise the profit margin for the project.
• Demonstrate leadership in risk management, compliance and auditing and ensure legislative, pre-contract and commercial obligations are met, including compliance with the relevant Building Code.
• Stakeholder management: Ensure that stakeholders are actively engaged and that beneficial relationships between the project and the client, subcontractors, community and other external parties are developed and maintained.
• People management: Monitor staff and labour resourcing to ensure the project has the capability to achieve targets, supervise workforce, including subcontractors and foster a high performance team with a positive employee relations environment.
• Contribute to new business, continuous improvement and broader business activities
• Arrange coordination with LTA and QPS and meeting with subcontractors.
• Coordinate with headquarter and site team to obtain enough resources for the projects
• Organize a proper project management team & plan to carry out the construction works
• Submission of progress report to project manager, client and relevant personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all authorities' regulations, which include BCA, PG, PUB and NEA etc.
• Perform all duties in accordance with company’s polices, processes, systems, reporting and procedures.

Job Requirement:

• Holds a Recognised Degree in Civil Engineering or transportation engineering degree.
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in construction industry
• At least seven (7) years of experience with main-contractor.
• Able to to lead work with counterparties overseas.
• Possess effective time-management skills to meet deadlines and planned deliverables.
