Key Responsibilities:

1) Data Curation and Management: Collect, clean, and organize datasets relevant to AI safety research. Ensure data quality and accessibility for model training and evaluation.

2) Model Alignment and Development: Align AI models with safety objectives, ethical guidelines, and societal norms. Design and evaluate methods to prevent unsafe or unintended AI behavior.

3) Gap Analysis: Identify gaps between current AI safety research and industry practices. Propose actionable solutions and frameworks to address these gaps.

4) User Interviews and Research: Conduct interviews and surveys with stakeholders (users, developers, policymakers) to understand real-world challenges in AI safety. Integrate findings into research and tool development.

5) Tool Development: Develop practical tools, frameworks, or methodologies to govern and evaluate AI behavior. Prototype solutions that enhance AI interpretability, robustness, and compliance with ethical guidelines.

6) Research and Publication: Conduct high-quality, novel research in AI safety. Publish findings regularly in top-tier AI conferences and journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, ACL).

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Demonstrated research experience in AI safety, ethical AI, alignment, or related areas.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Proven experience with data curation, analysis, and cleaning.
• Track record of publications in top AI/ML conferences and journals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in user research, including conducting interviews and surveys.
• Familiarity with fairness, robustness, and interpretability in AI.
• Knowledge of industry trends and challenges in deploying safe AI systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the overall execution of events, including planning, coordination, and execution.
• Work closely with vendors, suppliers to ensure all their needs are met, managing the day-of event operations.
• Ensure that all events meet the client's expectations and budget.
• Maintain accurate records of all event activities and expenses.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
• Manage any issue that may arise during the event, including resolving conflicts amongst individuals and managing crisis situations.

• At least two years of working experience in a similar position, preferably in an event management or hospitality industry. Fresh graduates are welcome.

Scope of work:

The Pest Control Manager oversees pest management operations. He/She may manage multiple sites or projects concurrently and is able to manage resources effectively. He establishes operational standards and procedures for the organisation and drives the adoption of technologies for enhancing productivity and effectiveness of pest management operations. He is also involved in business development activities, including the development of proposals for getting new contracts, launch of new products and the development of marketing collaterals to grow the organisation's brand.

He is required to balance his time between planning and reviewing progress reports in office, and monitoring of work sites with the aid of technology. He is required to engage with both internal and external stakeholders as part of his work.

He is an efficient planner and operations manager, often required to manage within resource constraints. He should be an effective communicator and competent in problem solving as well as resolving conflicts. He should also be proficient in collaboration and stakeholder management to meet organisation’s goals and clients requirements.

Key Task / Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the teams in the management of contracts and development of marketing collaterals for business development
• Participate in tender interviews, pitch meetings and/or marketing presentations to potential clients to showcase technical capability and experience
• Undertake site visits to resolve onsite challenges that may impact the scope of work or achievement of contract criteria
• Evaluate the technical and commercial feasibility of the scope of work with respect to the organisation's technical capability and commercial considerations
• Develop cost and effort estimates to draft technical and commercial proposals to bid for a tendered contract
• Attend client briefings to establish expectations, key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs) and related protocols
• Conduct detailed site assessments to determine actual scope of work on site and associated risks and challenges
• Plan the requirements for manpower, materials, tools and equipment as well as supervision for the site, in consideration of budget and contract specifications
