Job Overview:
The Arborist is responsible for assessing, maintaining, and managing trees in various environments, ensuring the health, safety, and sustainability of tree populations. This role requires an ISA Certified Arborist with experience in tree risk assessments, construction impacts on trees, and the implementation of mitigation measures. The Arborist will also work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to advise on the impact of design changes and provide recommendations related to tree health and management.

Key Responsibilities:

Tree Risk Assessments & Construction Impact:

• Conduct detailed tree risk assessments and evaluate the impact of construction on tree health, physiology, and structure.
• Recommend mitigation measures to protect trees during construction and development projects.
• Carry out secondary inspections of trees and generate reports with recommendations for action.

Inspection & Assessment Tools:

• Utilize arboriculture tools such as Resistograph, PICUS, and other equipment to perform tree assessments.
• Conduct root exploratory trench assessments and recommend mitigation measures based on findings.

Review of Design Drawings:

• Review architectural, structural, and landscape drawings to evaluate the impact on trees and provide professional advice on tree-related design changes.
