Responsibilities

• Assist operation team to ensure the equipment under your charge (such as powerboats, dinghies, anchors, ropes and other sailing accessories) are operationally ready at all times through regular maintenance.
• To maintain boat/ equipment asset list storage.
• Assist in basic boat repair works.
• Assist in the launching and recovery of powerboats; refueling of petrol and engine oil for powerboats.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workplace, especially that of the boatyard and its surrounding facilities.
• Require to attend regular meetings with your supervisor and perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
• Assist in admin duties such as purchase requisition

Reporting

Role Summary:

• As an Embedded SRE, you will work closely with our development teams to build and maintain scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
• You will be integral in shaping the culture of reliability, implementing monitoring and alerting systems, managing changes, automating toils, and enhancing the overall system's resilience through reliability planning and incident management.

Experience:

• Min. 2 years of Development experience in Java/Spring-boot or .Net (Object Oriented)
• Experience Application + Infrastructure Monitoring using monitoring tools like (New Relic/ AppDynamics/Grafana/Kibana/ Prometheus/Splunk etc.)
• Experience in Python, Shell Scripting preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring & Alerting: Implement and improve observability through sophisticated monitoring and alerting systems. Design and manage dashboards and alerts that proactively monitor health, performance, and compliance with agreed-upon SLIs and SLOs.
• Change Management: Champion progressive rollout strategies, detect and resolve problems efficiently, and safely manage rollback/forward processes to maintain system integrity during changes.
• Automation: Develop and implement automation strategies to reduce manual errors, minimize toil, and enhance team velocity.
• Reliability Planning: Engage in planning for both organic and inorganic growth, ensuring optimal utilization of computing resources and scalability of our infrastructure.
• Incident Management: Provide on-call support to address and mitigate incidents rapidly. Lead the practice of chaos engineering to ensure preparedness and effective response strategies.
• Release Engineering: Manage and optimize the continuous delivery process focusing on small, frequent, and safe releases.
• Reliability Consulting: Work alongside development teams to set and review SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets. Offer insights on architectural decisions, system observability, and application performance to enhance reliability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Embrace the "You build it, you run it" philosophy, working across functional teams to ensure reliability and performance from development through production.
• Problem Management: Conduct blameless post-mortems to learn from failures, uncover insights, and socialize findings across the company to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an SRE or in a similar operational engineering role.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Strong experience in programming, and cloud-native development, especially on Azure Kubernetes Services.
• Familiar with Azure components and services.
• Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities in Solution Sales:

• Drive pre-sales activities in support of company sales growth and strategy for Network and security solutions e.g. Cisco/Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortigate, SASE stacks, CheckPoint
• Engage the customers the company would like to acquire with the support of the sales/marketing team and vendors to generate and engage these leads to present the company value proposition.
• Engage, Present, Analyse, Propose, Negotiate and Convert qualified prospects into deals
• Translate client requirements into solutions, and confident with an ability to handle pressure in critical situations by always ensuring that client requirements are met i.e., solutioning, POC verification, and traditional IT cloud solution design for public cloud projects
• Work with the PMO, project and services delivery team to develop business proposals, scope of work and costing within certain gross margins before presenting to the clients.
• Keep abreast and insight of competition, competitive issues and products.
• Improve governance (policies, standards, guidelines) on successful delivery outcomes e.g., industry compliances, delivery frameworks/playbooks, port-mortem review
• Work closely with all technical group to on-board technical knowledge of solution offerings, inclusive of vendors and partners as needed
• Support sales for all technical demo and Proof Of Concept (POC) requirement

Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge:

• Education/Qualification – Degree or other equivalent
• Work Experience – At least 8 years of experience
• At least 3 years of presales
• At least 5 years of network and security experience
• Design, Implement and support networks and security
• Technical knowledge of network architecture and security, routers, switches, provisioning, firewalls, SASE
• Well versed in rules, policies, ports, blocks and VPN technologies
• Hands on expertise with networking solutions e.g. Cisco/Meraki, HP, CheckPoint, Radware, Fortinet or equivalent
• Technical knowledge of cloud network architectures
• Technical knowledge of Security By Design Framework
• Experienced with newer Security principles like SASE (e.g. zScaler, ForeScout, BeyondTrust, Crowdstrike/Carbon Black, Cisco Umbrella/Duo)
• CCNP and CISA certification will be an added advantage
• Possess problem solving skills and able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks

Skills and Qualifications:

2. At least 5 years of proven experience in the cleaning industry, facility management or building maintenance with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity

You will assist the Medical Social Workers in carrying out administrative work, in the delivery of social services to patients and their families. This includes processing of information and statistics on assistance through an electronic system. You may be required to gather information from patients and their families and assist them with the financial assessment procedures. You may also be required to conduct home visits.

The End User Computing (EUC) team in SIA provides IT services for all SIA Group employees in Singapore and Overseas. We are looking for an experienced professional with relevant experience to be part of the EUC team and play a significant role in modernizing our enterprise authentication system. This position also offers significant opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of our security posture by enabling Multi factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.

Responsibilities

•Design, implement, and maintain a robust enterprise authentication system with a focus on Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO).

•Evaluate and assess various solutions available in the market and conduct Proof of Concepts (PoC) to determine the best fit for the organization.

•Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously enhance and improve authentication mechanisms.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall security strategy.

•Develop and execute a comprehensive migration plan to transition users to the new MFA solution.

•Implement effective change management strategies to minimize disruption and ensure a smooth transition.

•Collaborate with application owners and development teams to seamlessly integrate applications with the new SSO solution.

•Define standard and create authentication patterns for application integration.

•Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to SSO integration, ensuring optimal performance.

•Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.

Required Skills

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

•Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise authentication solutions.

•Solid understanding of Single Sign-On (SSO) and experience with SSO solution implementation.

•Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) concepts and technologies.

•Strong knowledge of security best practices.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams.

•Good working knowledge in Active Directory, Single Sign-On, 2 Factor Authentication, Encryption, LDAP/LDAPS, RADIUS protocol, SAML 2.0, Open ID Connect and OAuth 2.0.

•A good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodology.

•Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF) or Microsoft Certification (MCSE) preferred.

•Exposure to ITIL (Incident, Problem & Change management) preferred.
