Job Summary:
We are seeking passionate, energetic, and child-focused individuals to join our vibrant team as an Assistant Game Master. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional escape room experiences, guiding and encouraging young players as they navigate our immersive challenges. If you have a knack for engaging with children, a love of storytelling, and a desire to make learning fun, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Handle customer inquiries and bookings, managing slot timings and providing exceptional customer experience
- Acquire full understanding of each escape game room
- Facilitate and oversee escape room sessions, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and educational experience for all participants
- Maintain the integrity and functionality of escape room sets and props
- Enthusiastically introduce storylines and set the scene for each escape room theme
- Observe and provide guidance to players as needed, adapting your approach to suit different age groups and skill levels, encouraging problem-solving and teamwork
- Reset escape rooms between sessions, ensuring they are ready for the next group of players
- Interact positively with children and their families, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere
- Solve unexpected problems/situations promptly
- Assist with general upkeep of the facility
Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for interaction with children and fostering their learning
- Experience in education, childcare, or related fields is highly desirable
- Excellent communication with children and parents, interpersonal, and storytelling skills
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to different situations
- Enthusiastic, energetic, with a positive attitude
- Patient, empathetic, and a genuine desire to help children succeed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
