• Prepare and conduct lessons according to the course syllabus and scheme of work

Daily Operation

• Responsible for implementing and maintaining a safe, cost efficient and environmentally sound operation standard in compliance with OSM Thome as well as International Marine regulations for a given number of vessels.

Dry Docking & Repairs

• Plan, manage, monitor and execute vessels repairs, dry dockings and conversions within agreed budgets.
• Arrange and follow up repairs and services.
• Coordinate with the assigned vessels and prepare the dry-docking specification in conjunction with Docking Superintendent, Fleet Services. Submit the specification to yards for quotations, evaluate the received quotations and present them to the Fleet Group Manager and/or Chief Operating Officer for review.

The Fuel Oil Cargo Trader will be a member in FO/Material Biz Office, one of the trading books in Singapore, reporting to the department head and supporting SK Energy’s commodities trading business.

Requirements and Roles include:

• Trading experience including storage and physical trading operations of fuel oil petroleum products
• Knowledge on bunkering activities and freight chartering for arbitrage cargoes
• Execute and manage FO Trading (Physical / Paper)
• Experience in Shipping and Import/Export Documentation
• Experience in Marine Fuel Oil Cargo Trading and Physical Price Hedging
• Manage Spot / Term Contract Terms
• Organic Understanding of Global Fuel Oil Supply/Demand Balance and dynamics
• Provide overview of Cargo Tracking and Market Analysis
• Coordination with Bunker Trading Team for Trading Optimization
• Maintain Close Communication with HQ (Korea) for Accommodating System Requirements and Refining Activity Changes
• Furnish Trading Activity / Market Intelligence Reporting on a weekly, monthly basis as required
• Produce daily Mark to Market Reporting

• Provide other traders with technical and fundamental market information and recommend methods of hedging and leveraging its position
• Provides market analysis and reporting as required

[Compliance]

• Adherence to all internal and external regulatory requirements and limits

[Management Reporting]

• Be ready for 24/7 reporting on anything related to Fuel Oil market to Management
• Perform research and regularly report on market analysis, trading position and strategy to Management (bi-weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly)
• Prepare strategic management reports and work closely with Seoul HQ on trading activities

Candidate Profile

A self-motivated individual who value integrity, have willing brain engagement in going the extra miles to provide excellent and create happiness and values to stakeholders. A strong candidate should possess the following:

• Minimally 5 years of trading experience including storage and physical trading operations of fuel oil petroleum products
• Knowledge on bunkering activities and freight chartering for arbitrage cargoes
• Execute and manage FO Trading (Physical / Paper)
• Experience in Shipping and Import/Export Documentation
• THOR/CXL system will be an advantage
• Bachelor’s Degree holder in Trading, Business or related areas
• Experience in trading, commodity markets including hedging/price risk management and storage/blending operations
• Possess good understanding of the International bunker business
• Following oil, fuel oil, bunker, shipping industry news and market trends, regulations and developments
• Exceptional understanding of business development strategies and analytical skills
• Extensive experience in negotiating spot and term contract trades with customers
• Capable of maintaining CRM (customer relationship management) systems and good general administrative skills
• Coordinating with operations, credit finance/accounting departments to ensure operational and financial performance
• At ease with working in a multicultural environment and ability to interact effectively with individuals of all levels in the organization
• Effective team player with excellent oral and written communication skills and strong stakeholder management skills
• Highly motivated and organized individual who exhibits strong integrity, work ethics and ability to perform under pressure

Responsibilities

• Assist the company's management team with administrative and accounting tasks.
• Perform general office duties and upkeep of office to ensure that it is always neat and tidy.
• Assist to prepare sale quotation and invoices
• Keep good records of the company documentation.
• Assist in coordination with vendors
• Printing, scanning and filing documents (e.g. tax invoices, invoices issued etc.)
• Keeping good records of supplier invoices and payment
• Other admin/accounts duties as assigned by superior.
• Assist team on project coordination if required
• Assist team on submitting permit to work application to landlord before projects commence
