This role is part of the business development team and will primarily manage client relationships which involves regular/ ongoing contact with clients and delivering quality service to clients based in the China market and Chinese clients globally.

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Acquire prospective clients, establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.

· Understand and meet the needs of clients and managing their expectations effectively.

· Be familiar with the Company’s products and services to promote effectively to clients.

· Engage and coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet the needs of clients.

· Assist in initial and ongoing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) processes to fulfil Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/ Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) requirements.

· Act as the Point of Contact (POC) and be responsible for all sales and service enquiries from prospects and clients.

· Organize and facilitate meetings between prospects or clients and internal or external stakeholders.

· Provide regular updates to the Head of Business Development with the progress of the sales leads.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

University graduate with at least 10 years of experience at asset management or financial services firm, preferrable with similar experience in an asset management/ investment licensed company in China.

Require at least 5 years of experience in a sales/ business development role.

Fluency in verbal Mandarin and written Chinese is a must.

Require a good understanding of China law on overseas investments and China Trust Law.

Require basic understanding of Singapore financial regulatory environment.

Require basic understanding of cross border tax within Asia.

Strong interpersonal, communication (written and oral), negotiation and influencing skills.

Self-starter who is adaptive, fast-learning, responsive, extremely well-organized, meticulous, detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.

Highly accurate with good attention to detail.

Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

CMFAS qualification will be required.
