IT Executive
Responsibilities:
1. Provide IT and network support including system installation, configuration and upgrading (on-site and/or remote technical assistance to end-users).
2. Manage computer networks and related computing environments on systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
3. Documentation of all the IT assets, user information, VOIP lines, data lines and software licenses and maintenance.
4. Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measure.
5. Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network problems.
6. Managing of IT assets and assists in decision making on acquiring IT assets.
7. Setting up all the IT requirements which includes PC, Copier Machines, required software and the applications pertaining to the respective department.
8. Office 365 maintenance – creating email IDs / Teams for the new staffs, taking backup of the outlook files, adding additional email accounts in accordance to internal procedure.
9. Assists with the implementation of any new system and technology that will improve work processes and member experience.
10. Work with all stakeholders to identify and provide responsive support on IT requirements
11. Monitor the office network and firewall within a secure environment for enhanced protection.(DHCP, Firewall policy, Access point, Vlan)
12. Monitor Server room temperature and humidity, and make sure all server related equipment (E.g.: UPS) are working under good condition
13. Regular update antivirus-related tools and window-related system patches.
14. Domain maintenance
Others:
1. Any reasonable task assigned by management and deemed to be within the individual’s capabilities to ensure smooth running of the business
2. Ready to be on-call and provide site support when needed
Requirements:
1. Min. Diploma in Information Technology or its equivalent;
2. 3-5-years exposure in desktop/Helpdesk support;
3. Excellent in hardware, software, network, and server troubleshooting;
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
5. Bilingual in English and Mandarin (Write and Read)
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills;
7. Strong documentation and organizational skills for maintaining IT asset records and ensuring licensing compliance.
