Process Management:

• Work with respective departments (Process Owner) to ensure that the overall process for the Company is efficient and effective.
• Manage process documentation flows to ensure that the processes for all departments are fully documented.

Requirements:

Roles & Responsibilities

Due to business needs, we are now recruiting a Head of Accounting and Tax to be part of the Accounting team for expansion.

The Duties of Head of Accounting and Tax:

· To manage a team of 5 accountants with a large client base in industries such as manufacturing, research, retail, construction, property, oil & gas, charities, investment, metals, design, consulting, and start-ups.

· To ensure that we provide accurate information to our clients and the local authorities so that all their statutory obligations are met; these includes filing tax returns with IRAS and Financial Statements with ACRA

· Conduct bank reconciliations and forecast cash flow to maintain financial stability.

· Manage payroll operations and assist in budgeting and cost analysis.

· Prepare and file corporation tax, employer tax, and GST returns.

Desired Experience

• Hands-on experience with MS Excel, XERO, MYOB, SAP, Payday and any other accounting software is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize projects to meet tight deadlines.

Desired Qualification

• Diploma/degree in accounting with minimum of 8-10 years of full spectrum accounting and tax compliance experience, preferably from related industry.
